Biggest Lie of 2013
Dec 16, 2013 01:39:03   #

Politifact is a Tampa-based organization that is dedicated to finding the t***h in politics. They even have a scale to show how t***hful or unt***hful a statement is.

This organization declared the biggest lie of 2013 was the lie that sitting President Barack Obama told, not once, but 37 times since his healthcare fiasco was first forced upon the American people. And that was the knowledge that "if you liked your current healthcare plan, you could keep it" was nothing more than a blatant lie.

It is unbelievable that so many people are so brainwashed that they would still back this imposter. Does he have the power of group hypnosis as Kreskin "sp" supposedly did on TV a few years back?

It makes a person wonder, does it not?

Obama has made the US presidency a laughing stock . Now we find out his HHS Secretary , Kathleen She-will-lie-to-us , has urged contractors to withhold information from Congress . She should be prosecuted for conspiracy to defraud Congress and placed in prison and her retirement seized .

No politician should ever get a retirement. That includes their so called ass. too. The only people that should get a retirement is a W or G rated person working for the government and then only after 20 years or more. This paying a Congressman after only one term is really stupid. Who gets a retirement after only 2 or 4 years of work????

By the way, no HHS secretary is going to do anything unless the President tells them to. You can blame Obama for this. He only puts people in there that will do what he says. Actually, it is not him, but his handlers that do the telling. He is simply a mouth piece. He is to stupid to do anything else.

And if we still had a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, she would be in prison right now. But since this bunch of crooks have invaded Pennsylvania Avenue, the people have been brainwashed into believing they are the absolute government and we are nothing more than subjects.

I think it's a shame that there are still people who support obama. Personally I can't stand to hear him talk. His whole life has been a lie. It all starts from when he was born. To this day he still denies being born in kenya. He should not be in office because he is not a natural born citizen of America. I just don't understand why people haven't made enough noise to get him impeached. We need to call our senators with the same things we say in these foruns. The squeakiest wheel gets oiled the first. Let's put our opinions where it will get something done. Call your senators and anyone else that can get something done. He's been in office way too long.

Obama's birth certificate allegedly shows that he was born at Kapi' Olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital on Oahu, Hawaii. But records show that Kaui Keolani Children's Hospital and Kapi' Olani Maternity Home did not merge to become Kapi'Olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until 1978. So how could he be born in a hospital that did not exist when he was born?

I have written letters to all my congressmen, senators and everyone else I could. They all responded and to no surprise, all letters were identical!! Guess they all have the same secretary. ( Tongue-in-cheek)

I believe they print them by the ream because I have done the same. And when I call they are so polite and agree with everything I say with the sound of mirth in their voice. I say that because I have always heard hee-hee-hee was the international sound of mirth. LOL

Well, that sux. In my naivity, I believed that my call was heard. I first got a live person then put through to a voicemail of the senator. I left my message in good faith that it was heard. Maybe it wasn't. I don't know. I do still believe, though, that if enough people swarmed the lines, that something could get done. Maybe with enough letters it could get done. Bombard their desks. There has got to be some way to be heard besides v****g, which I believe can be fixed. What do we do?

I believe if enough people would make phone calls at any one time and tie up the switchboard like they did a few years ago, then they would listen. But a random call periodically does not phase them because they figure such a small number really does not mean a thing.

The big problem is getting anyone to stand with you and do it. So many believe that it is a waste of time to call and gripe to their elected representatives, but they don't hesitate to cry on our shoulders when we can't do anything.

Everyon here is correct about this. The only way we can stop this is by everyone coming together, make a plan , a time and all call at once. I know the system will fix itself one day but that will be a very sad day in this country. The country will implode and people will die or the ones who are broke and don't have anything to barter with. This country has to many depending on government money and when that stops what then. People think the government isn't broke and don't understand the fact we can't keep spending money we don't have and we can't keep borrowing half of every dollar we spend. They think because the checks keep going out were never going broke. The saddest thing is we could be in great shape if all the waste, fraud and abuse was stopped. The fact that every where you see ads about sign up for ssi and there are many things that qualify you. The lawyers are all over tv radio and print and how do you think they stay in business when the government put a limit on what they get paid. Its called volume and every case they win is more money coming out of taxpayers pockets. Now don't get me wrong there are people who need it and really qualify but they just caught a lawyer who was able to push through many ssi claims using paid doctors. He made a few million doing this. I do taxes for a living for many years and the fraud is getting worse each year with children drawing ssi and earned income credit using children that are someone elses. These refund checks are in the 5 to 10 grand range and they should be a couple hundred instead. When I see this over 100 times in a small office each year add that up. I report it when possible and I am sure its fraud but I see that same customer next year with either the same kids or different ones so the irs must not be fixing it. In 2011 there was an estimate of fraud with tax refunds for the earned income of 11.5 billion dollars and this fact is online from the irs. I stated this because I've have people say its a lie and try to spin it. These people who allow this in congress needs to go to jail period. This is buying v**es plain and simple and both parties are guilty and it needs to stop.

I am glad you sent this tread in because I sent a similar one in and certain Democrats tried to say I lied. But I did not lie. I see this myself every month when these l***hes get their checks and food stamp cards. Each Fall before school starts the same l***hes are flooding the stores, especially Wal-Marts, and grabbing clothes off racks and tossing them on the floor if they decide they don't want an item.

The sure fire way to spot a welfare shopper in a food store in watch how they throw food, especially meats, in their shopping carts without so much as looking at the price on the package. Then notice the person that is comparing prices before adding the item to their cart. Follow these people to the checkout and see which one's pay with a welfare card and which pays by cash or check.

I was even accused of "shadowing" these "poor, under privileged" people. But since it is part of my money they get for doing absolutely nothing, I feel I have that right. At least I get to see the junk food and crap my money buys, don't I?

Well, I agree with both of you. I can't stand to see these people on welfare. Somehow they live better than me. It disturbs me to see it going on so much. I don't like seeing those lawyers making a k*****g off of disability claims. I know people personally that are on disability that I think could do some kind of work and earn a living. It's getting so bad and I fault obama with a lot of it. I'm not an obama supporter and I think he loves the fact that so many people are dependent on the government.

You can bet money that not only he depends on these people, but the whole Democrat party depends on them to keep them in office.
