He is probably not the first president to have members of his party disagree with him on some issues. This is particularly evident in president's second terms. Also, his effort to insure that all Americans have affordable quality health care has been a major undertaking and with Republicans ready to pounce with anything less than perfection would explain some defections. However, Democrats may be unhappy with some of Obama's actions, only those who are politically confused would be defecting to the Republican party. I think those who are confused about their best interests would already be in the Republican party. What do you think?

If anyone cares for my two cents, the easiest way to completely neutralize (neuter?) any administration is through the international media. Once a president is isolated diplomatically, they're boxed in. And the more that happens, the quicker and more likely the foreign press will run damning stories that will eventually reach our shores.

Sometimes it helps to be subtle, and play the angles. Right now we're staring down a domestic tyrant. No reason to take it head on - work around him. That's always best.

The Republicans have many ideas and have offered them such as being able to buy your health insurance across state line, allowing groups to pool together and purchase insurance at discounted rates because of their purchasing power and allowing the free market to compete which automatically lowers rates because of competition. You must remember the democrats passed this a*********n in the dead of night behind closed doors and would not allow Republican advice or input. If they had we might have something that actually works and would help the uninsured versus this destructive monstrosity that is hurting individuals, families and America as a whole. Remember the democrats didn't even read the damn bill before signing it. Totally irrational, incompetent, irresponsible and inexcusable. They should have been taken out in the street along with Obama, given a blindfold, a cigarette and been shot. Obama has known millions of Americans will lose their healthcare for at least three years which has been proven and he has continued to lie to three hundred million people. I don't know if he is capable of telling the t***h unless it is something that negatively affects America and he is proud of it. Now when the majority of Americans are finding out what we've been telling you all along and realize what a disaster this is, Obama wants to throw a temper tantrum, blame his horrific mistakes on the Republicans or anybody else he can think of since he is incapable of accepting responsibility for his own action and cry and blame them for not fixing his mistakes. He has fucked up so much it will take a lifetime to repair the damage he has done to our country and that would have to begin with him admitting his failures and begging for help, resigning, checking into a facility for the criminally insane for life, without the chance for parole and cutting off all communications with the outside world. Then we would at least have HOPE for CHANGE and a starting point to T***SFORM this country back into something that resembles an America of the people, by the people and for the people. Remember this Satanic son of a b***h works for us.
