I love everyone....as a child of God.....BUT....I CHOOSE those I associate with. And those based in and on religion and no spirituality are not ever included in my realm of associates or friends.

The ego.....the "other self" opposing God.....the who must ALWAYS have its way.....who has no humility, consideration, compassion, or thought of others or their wishes, lives, etc......which seems to pretty well describe you and jay...
Agape, the truest of all loves, is love for the sake of love....accepting ALL there is in anyone no matter what....even if they are on death row for murdering a hundred people. There is no judgment, condemnation, negativity of any kind....just pure love....that must flow from God through you to them.....the sacrifice of anything humanly created for the purity of God's love....and it is reciprocal....from God, it helps them.....and you.

Here's something I've always figured. I'd much rather friends tell me what they honestly think whether I desire to hear it or not. Than to have hidden things that they don't tell me. Because this is what I want from my friends, I try to address people I want as friends in such a manner.

That directness offends you, bothers me. I don't understand why.

What I am going to say is frank....calm....t***hful.
I do not consider you a friend. None of my friends behave as you do. I CHOOSE my friends.....and would never choose you.
You do not represent any of the attributes I require in my friends. And, my friends do tell me the t***h. BUT, they never attempt to force anything on me.....and know that I do not believe as you.....and would NEVER expect me to endure the idiocy you continue to dish out.....when repeatedly requests to desist.
You haven't the balls to search out the t***h....the proven historical fact based t***h.....not what the politicos have arranged through the centuries for you to consume.
That's the difference between you and my friends. They are not afraid of the t***h....and continue to seek daily through their lives for the guidance from God. We live lives you would not comprehend. You have no conception of what it is like to live as we do.
And, your "directness"....it isn't direct. It is your opinion, based on a text arranged by men for no reason other than political control.
So, believe as you choose, and have the consideration to leave me alone....

In the middle of the night, early morning really, I awoke and watched a program on PBS that I had scheduled for recording. It was called, I believe, "From Jesus to Christ", and was narrated by renowned spokesmen and women from schools of religion and divinity around the world. You can find this program and watch it on your computer at pbs.org. I recommend it to you, as you will see that these people, some older than I, have spent their entire lives and careers researching and learning about and from the Bible. You might enjoy it, it approached with an open mind. Whether you do this now....or later......this is a required course.....only the time you take it is optional.
