This is wrong, the founder farthers didn't have this in mind. The dems just as bad as the repubs, but now the dems will shove things down the citizens throats that will destroy this country.

The Republicans have thoroughly abused the filibuster; it was never meant for the minority party to rule over the branches of government. Plus they no longer even bother to do a proper filibuster, by actually speaking to the subject on the Senate floor; what is at issue is never known.

No this just right, another nail in the democratic party and another reason not to v**e for any democrat other than Sens. Carl Levin (Mich.), Mark Pryor (Ark.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.) were the only Democrats to v**e against Reid's rules change. Reid opened a can of worms now let's see if it can eat any.
