Taking Back Our Country!

I say that sounds like a nice slogan.

But just how is that all going to take place.

Who has our country now, how did they take it, who did they take it from, who is going to take it back & who will have it then.

Just how & why is this going to affect each of Us. Will those that had it first be getting it back. I don't think those looking to take it back have been around that long.

Some how I feel that those that don't have much now & never had much to start with are looking to take back the Country they never had. I do think that they would like to have a small part of it to call home.

I call it home & have a small part of it which I think I earned. So I don't think I took any thing from any one.

I have what I have & just wish to keep the small part I call mine. As I feel most do.

So just who lost & what did they lose & to who? How did they get what they had & who has it now?

Could it all be about pandering for v**es?

V**es aren't that important and never really were. In the beginning of this country, the common folk had little share in it, at least, they had very little to say in how it was run. One had to be a white male with substantial property holdings, to v**e or to hold high public office. Who made those rules? White males with substantial property. Go figure. Of course, these men justified their elitist attitude by telling themselves the common man had no time for such things, working from sunup to sundown just to survive, had little training or experience at making lofty decisions and no education. Women weren't even considered, as their place was in the home and their focus on a single family - period.

Slowly, over the next two centuries, the social consciousness of the people became more acute, as education increased, information promulgation proliferated and the recognition that every citizen has a Constitutional duty to be involved in the running of the country. As each step of the awakening was taken, the elite responded with increasingly complex rules and laws, designed to slow this progress, being unwilling to give up their power and control. The elite turned the country into a two party system of governance, with the elite in charge of the party's and therefor the Governance, ensuring that their interests were always on the front burner, their power and control remained secure and that progress was slowed or halted.

We "the people" never had a country of our own. We were no more than the worker bee's keeping the elite's country running smoothly, doing what we were told to do, paying what we were told to pay and going where we were told to go. As our consciousness increased, the elite created numerous illusions for us, giving us the impression that we were gaining some measure of control over the country, and therefor gaining a share of it - but they were, after all - illusions. V****g being one of those illusions. Who do we v**e for? Only those selected by the party elite, ensuring that one of their choices will be elected and their control, power and influence remains secure.

Whenever there is a change in the party affiliation of the Office of President, what really changes? When there is a change in the majority party in the Congress, what really changes? The answer is "nothing", as the two major party's continue their absolute control over the country, which means the elite have what THEY want - absolute control. Partisanship is an illusion, keeping the people divided, preventing them from working together to take control away from the elite. V****g is an illusion, making people think they're actually involved in running the country.

The t***h is, we never had a country to begin with and still don't - it's always been owned by white males with substantial holdings.

So we can be in agreement that Taking Back Our Country Is just an illusion to distract Us from the reality of it all. Every thing will stay the same.
