"Let my Zimmie go"

I did my best to ignore everything around the hoopla and the trial itself about Zimmerman and Martin, including, occasionally putting my hands over ears and yelling, "La, La, La," really loud. And the stupidity returns, nonetheless.

As much as we know about what happened in that confrontation between Zimmerman and Martin is that zimmerman was found innocent of any wrongdoing. Case ended. case closed. Move on. You do not want to hear what the Left is saying. I had the links to the likes of the Reverend Sharpton and MSNBC but why?

His three recent run-ins with the law do not speak to that day, even if two of the three alleged instances involve assault charges. This could point to violent tendencies that may indicate an injustice in the martin case or that the pressure of that highly-publicized case has left him bewildered. No matter. Jury trail: innocent! Case frkn closed fer cryin' outloud,

When a homeless black man was beaten by the son of a local police official, and it was hushed up, Zimmerman the r****t raised hell until said son was prosecuted. The cops had no reason to love him, yet declined prosectution for the Martin shooting. That should have spoken volumes. Apparently common sense is on vacation, and people haven't considered the possibility that just maybe he is a). innocent, or b). guilty of one thing but not the other. That has been known to happen from time to time.

To Zimmies credit, his conscience is requiring him to be incarcerated - for something. Only He and Trayvon know what really happened that day. Zimmerman will get what HE thinks he deserves. All these other people yow yowing about it is meaningless.

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who gunned down 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, used a racial slur during a 911 call to police. Zimmerman called 911 to report a ” a real suspicious guy” in his gated community in Sanford, Florida on Feb. 26.

Zimmerman, 28, later told police that he stepped out of his truck to read a street sign when Trayvon attacked him from behind.

Zimmerman said he fired his .9mm handgun in self-defense. Trayvon, who was carrying a bag of candy and a can of iced tea, died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

The full audio of the call has been released (without the police edits) — and now the public knows that Zimmerman is at the very least a r****t.

Fact or fiction? listen to the 911 tape and decide for yourself

During that call, Zimmerman, who has knowledge of police procedures, sets up a scenario for a Stand Your Ground law defense – “he’s got his hand in his waistband,” “he’s coming toward me,” “he’s got something in his hand,” etc.

“These assholes always get away,” he told the dispatcher. At the 2:21 mark, Zimmerman clearly says the words “fucking coons” under his breath. The dispatcher immediately asks Zimmerman if he’s following Trayvon. “Yeah,” Zimmerman replies. “OK, we don’t need you to do that,” says the 911 operator.

According to ABC News, Trayvon was on his cell phone talking to a teenage girl moments before his death.

From ABC News:

Martin told a teenage girl that he was “hounded by a strange man on a cellphone who ran after him, cornered him and confronted him.” “‘He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. He said he lost the man,’ Martin’s friend said. ‘I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run but he said he was not going to run.’ Eventually he would run, said the girl, thinking that he’d managed to escape. But suddenly the strange man was back, cornering Martin. ‘Trayvon said, ‘What are you following me for,’ and the man said, ‘What are you doing here.’”

President Obama has reportedly decided not to weigh in on the Trayvon Martin case. “Obviously, we’re not going to wade into a local law enforcement matter,” said a White House spokesman.

But the Justice Department and the FBI have now opened an investigation to determine if Zimmerman or the Sanford police department violated Trayvon’s civil rights.

It is not all or nothing. It's very possible he was innocent in the Martin shooting, and guilty of the assault. As I said, the fact that the local police, who had no cause to do him any favors, declined prosecution is evidence in of itself. He was a pain in their ass; if they had a case, they would've proceeded with it. They did not, and still do not like him.

Very possible... or is it a case of OLD EARS.... I listened to the 911 tape through a EQ with good head phones and could make out the racial slur .... I was against Zimmies arrest before that point.... and I still support stand your ground now.... I am of the opinion that black men still don't get the same judgment in a court of law as white men or women ... I wish you could prove me wrong... so prove away

True dat, but he also had lawyers that liked him ( or pretended to ) at the time. Bottom line, he's a time bomb.
