My wife gave me a program called "D**gon" for my birthday. I am sure some of you have seen it advertised on TV. I just have to say, I love it! If any of you out there struggle with typing as I do, this program is a God send. It takes a little time to set up since you have to "train" it to recognize your unique speech patterns (like it has a little trouble with my Texas drawl) but it learns way faster than the Microsoft speech recognition software. She gave me the professional version for my business but they have other versions as well. It also takes a little adjusting to speaking rather than typing but man it is fast.
If any one is interested you can check it out here,

Ok, Mr. Tech guru. Is there a program or way for me to intermittently flip my keyboard to foreign languages such as Greek?

Actually there is but you have to buy the software to do it. You can type in English and the software will automatically t***slate it into any language you choose from the data base. It will also t***slate any language offered through the data base into English for you. Got about $2,800.00 laying around that you do not need? That is about what the software costs.

That is if you want the best. It is hard to set up and unlikely that it will actually work for you the first few tries, but you could do this if you are using Windows XP or Vista as your OS. Like I said though, it may not work. It will not harm your computer in any way though as long as you set a restore point before attempting it. You can try this:

Sign in as Administrator click my computer in the start menu, then click change settings, then click on Date, time, language and regional options, then click on add other languages, and then click on details. There you can find all the languages you dream of.
After you have made your choice, by simply using (I think it is shift+ctrl), you can shift from English into the language you have chosen. A blue spot in the bottom bar will tell you in which language your keyboard is actually set on.

The process is also dependent on the manufacturer of your computer, the version of your OS and several other OS factors that are impossible for me to predict. If I was sitting at your computer, I could do it in about ten minutes, but I am a computer geek. Depending on your system configuration you may get it to work. Like I said, it will not damage your computer, so give it a try. To set back to English on your keyboard, just follow the same steps.

I have not tried this in windows 7 or 8.

OK, you got me curious with your question. I played around a little and on my computer that is running windows 8. The software I told you about earlier is an automatic t***slator that goes both ways so that you can communicate with people from other countries in their language.

To flip your keyboard language in windows 7 or 8 follow the below steps.

Right click on the start icon in the lower left corner. Open control panel. Left click on clock, language and region. Left Click on language. Left click on add a language. Choose your language from the options available by left clicking. Download the language pack.
This adds the language to your availability list.
From there you just have to choose the language you want and select it.

Your keyboard will now type in that language. Do the same to return to English.

There you go.

That seems like a lot to do...why not just go to google t***slate, type it in English, t***slate to desired language & copy & paste it? I do it all time, then just do it in reverse for the English t***slation.

You're right, she didn't ask that...I just think everyone is like me..I can only speak, understand and write English. I did not mean to offend you.

Because Google t***slate will NOT do several very interesting languages, ie. Latin, Greek and others, utilizing what is our basic keyboard. You have to change it to produce the alphabet of some very interesting languages.

Not yet. I am on my iPad this PM. My laptop is new. I am very inept on a laptop. It is a serious learning curve. It is running Windows 8, which matters less then nothing to me as I have zip familiarity with Windows 5, 6 or 7. The laptop was a freebie.
