I read this heart rending letter. The pain was palpable. I owe a lot to all the people Tomas mentioned as being adversely affected by the war. I regret he is dying. I would like to know what he is dying of. He didn't say. He did say he was paralyzed because of an injury in the war, but this in and of itself shouldn't be a cause for his death and probably not for his pain.

He made statements that are patently untrue, but that he feels are true because he logically doesn't like what happened to him. He feels President Bush had no right, no authority to go to Iraq. He feels that because that is what they lying scum of the democrat party started mouthing . Tomas talks as if no one but Bush and Cheney had anything to do with the goings on, which is simply untrue.

I believe Tomas feels he speaks for everyone harmed by the war and that all hold President Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld personally liable. I don't believe he DOES speak for everyone. I think that soldiers have earned the right to say almost everything they want to say, but I also think it is irresponsible for people totally out of the loop to assume every word they utter in pain is a reliable fact.

I feel for Tomas and all who are in his shoes. I also think they are blaming the wrong people for the events that unfolded after America had the most horrific attack in our history.
