Palin Rips Obama's Orlando Speech: 'A Special Kind of Stupid'

By Todd Beamon | Friday, 17 Jun 2016

Sarah Palin said Friday that President Barack Obama was "a special kind of stupid" because of his calls for tighter gun restrictions in light of the Orlando terrorist shootings.

"Enough is enough, Mr. President," the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice p**********l candidate, said on Facebook. "There's no 'due respect' due after pulling this stunt.

"Exploiting a sick, evil, ideological-driven attack on Americans to further your twisted anti-Second Amendment mission is d********g," Palin continued. "Today, you're demanding an 'explanation' from law-abiding gun owners, but not demanding the same from followers of Islam, the religion behind this terror?"

In his speech Thursday outside the Amway Center in downtown Orlando, President Obama said that tougher gun laws were necessary because "our politics have conspired" to make it easy for possible terrorists or "disturbed" individuals to buy powerful guns.

The Orlando shooter, Omar Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida, shot 49 people dead and injured as many as 53 others Sunday with an AR-15 assault rifle inside the Pulse gay nightclub.

He had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State during the assaults. Mateen was k**led in a gun battle with Orlando SWAT team officers.

"If the demented Orlando terrorist doesn't represent all Islamic followers, then why do you insinuate he represents all gun owners?" Palin asked in her post.

"And why, after any shooting, do you always want to take away firearms from the innocent people who didn't do it?

"Forget your asinine gun control, do your job and engage in Islamic terrorist control," she said. "Yes, it's a special kind of stupid to demand we explain ourselves."

Palin wasn't my 1st pick, but I thought and still think she's a damned long shot better than McCain, Romney or Trump.

The only reason I v**ed for McCain was I was hoping he would die and Ms Palin would become president. She would be far better than either candidate we are currently choosing between. For that matter, there are a number of Senators, Congressmen and Governors who would be a better choice.

I, too, know quite a number of people who would be a better choice........they consist of my insurance agent, my pest control worker, the people who pick up our trash, the ladies who work the cash registers at WalMart, my partner who re-built our home, my auto mechanic, the receptionist at my doctor's office. I know thousands who would make a better President than Obama, Biden, Clinton, etc. Hell, I would make a better government official than anyone currently in office - and that isn't a brag - simply a t***hful statement.

Perhaps a lottery for public office would be an idea for governmental reform.

It was the beginning of Sharia law starting to strangle America's free-market Western culture, Don, and our government and NGO's [and possibly disintegrating military] is being infested and infected with 7th century barbaric pro-Sharia ideology and agenda; "from stem-to-stern." Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUMP!!!

It would be as good a way as what we do now. I truly believe that.

Agreed. However, after being so greatly vilified, I doubt that Palin will return to politics. Michelle Bachman was treated horribly and left the Senate after her term was over.
These two good women are certainly smart enough to get out of the mess.
I'm sure that their lives are full of a whole lot more peace now.
I still h**ed to see them both go.

Michelle Bachman, more likely, left the Senate to return to the House of Representatives where she belonged, representing the 6th Congressional District of Minnesota from 2007 'til 2015. She never made it to the Senate except as a guest or an observer.
