Will the Tea Party hurt or help the Republicans in 2014?

We saw how a number of considered easy wins for Republicans (especially in AZ) turned into disasters back in 2008 and 2012 because moderate Republicans, who would have had a walk in the park, were replaced by, let's face it, some not very bright or savvy Tea party candidates. And their views on a number of topics far out there. Is America ready now to better embrace their stands, considering all that has happened with this administration and the do-nothing, least popular Congress ever?

What is the Tea Party's core platform? What should the Tea Party focus on to win? Who best represents that party? Is it Cruz, Paul or someone else? Speak to us Tea Party supporters, make your case. Only speaking for myself, though I am sure I am not alone, I am unusure of the Tea Party's planks.

This a stage to make your case, Tea Party members and sympathizers. Let us now what irks and what you stand for. Is secession an option or a goal or anti-American? Something but Obama-h**e must be on your agenda.

Hi Guys & Gals. In my opinion, (I know, I know), the only thing in the Tea Party that makes sense is a plank, a nice big 2 x 8 to maybe use as a subfloor piece! Even a burro should know that NO ONE can simply BALANCE THE BUDGET at this point in time. The aim should be at reducing spending, outlawing pork barrel add-ons, lobbying AND, accepting bribes from lobbies, (you saw it here!). Obama's aim with the AFFORDABLE, which it won't be very soon, Health Care Act is eventually to make ALL citizens dependent upon big government. The more HE gives away, the more v**es the Demos will get. Get ALL health Care workers enrolled as members of Unions, get all of the new I.R.S. workers enrolled as members of unions. oh, yeah, plus get everybody enrolled as members of unions, and the union fat cats will make sure that EVERYONE on their rolls v**es for the Demos. The Tea Party should go back in the hole that they came out of and at least give the Republican party some kind of a chance to amass a united front, and if the Republicans don't figure out a way to give away MORE than the Demos, at least enough to win control of the House and the Senate, soon we will be on the verge of a one-party system. Let me see, what do we call that, ah yes, a dictatorship!

The TEA party has already almost k**led the Republican party. It may have started out with the intent of reducing the size of government, but it has morphed into the party of "H**e Obama." If Obama is for it, they are against it, doesn't matter what it is.

The basic premise from my perspective is reduction of federal deficits, smaller more accountable federal government, and ending the erosion of our constitutional rights.

They have got to articulate what there message is to the people, and they are working from small local groups and slowly building national campaign plans.

But they have made a lot of enemy's but have also put so much fear in the adminstration that Obama has forced the navy to remove its emblem of do not tread on me. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.

I wouldn't pull any punches go for the throat of the dem lies and not let up for a second.

I invite others to add to what I see

Some I won't say all traditional establishment republicans have forgotten that these are the principles that they once campaigned, pledged and fought for.
