The VA System is infested with c*******t leaning liberal SCUM. Everything is judged by COST and bonuses are granted based on the number of those not helped and turned away. A fact! For many years Viet Nam era vets were openly disrespected and denigrated. I know I am one of them.

We know hatred when we encounter it. Liberals make arbitrary decisions based entirely upon whim. Many individuals have various combat related problems when added up come to well over 100%. Rarely do they grant this as often a lower rating is made based on nothing other than political concerns. Cost rules all. Truly the love of money is the root of all EVIL.

I h**e the way America treats their vets, honestly. I have the highest respect for a vet whether he sits on a curb with a cardboard sign, or has five stars on his shoulders working behind a desk. For myself, I've never been in the Military but at the young age of 19, having suffered through many types of child abuse, I was totally disabled and offered Social Security Disability. I refused it, and choose a profession, educated myself in it, and went to work. I still work in this field today. I had to painstakingly over come my disability with time, learn to live with some of it, continuing to work, and have never excepted handouts. I still have 10 years until I retire.

Yep, this is what sequestration has caused. Congress wanted across the board cuts to decrease the deficit so critics should point the finger at those who elected a congress that refuses to negotiate for more taxes to support vets.

Well I have no idea how much Welfare Recipients receive but if an individual is a COMBAT disabled vet he get a lot of money. The problem is that the Government does not want the Vet to know how to get it. #1 your retirement is tax free but then you have to put in for Combat Special Compensation. Look it up on the web under CSC and print out the papers, then put in your disability retirement papers, then watch some money come in. This is not a joke. The Government does not want VETS to know about CSC.

Another bogus statement by a left-wing socialist. Remember sequestration was Obunglers idea...remember that? Secondly, it's only around $35B annually in cuts. It is Obutthead who is making the sequestration as miserable on the American people as he can. Obummer was cutting the military well before any sequestration kicked in, that's the Democrats mantra...they always cut the military.

Hey butthead, taxes are currently too high! They're stifling economic growth! The treasury just took in a record $2.77T in taxes...A RECORD! How much do you radical l*****ts want? All of our money? Congress should be lowering taxes and thereby freeing up more money for capital investment.

I believe that you are wrong. If a 100% disabled veteran he/she will draw their retirement benefits tax free. That is a giveme. But there are a whole bunch of disabled vets that have never heard of CRSC. This is t***slated to Combat Related Special Compensation. Here is the problem. If you don't ask for it the Government will NOT let you get it. They don't want people to know it is out there. OK So here it is:
SSG E6, 20 years, 100% disabled peace time and 100% disabled combat. Peace time disability is about 1400.00 per month tax free. CRSC is about $1800.00 per month tax free for a total of $3200.oo per month. OH then throw in Social Security Disability and then 100% disabled from Cal. Department of Corrections, and I make more than ever before.

Here is something that every VET needs to know. If you are disabled from Combat there is a special place you need to go. I am 100% disabled from peace time, retired SSG E6, I get about $1400.00 per month tax free, Then I get another $1700.00 from CRSC. This is called Combat Related Special Compensation. The Government does not want you to know about it. I have told many Vets from around central Florida about it and watched them go from homeless to having an apartment. Go online to CRSC and then go to the site and download all the papers you need and direction of how to get it. I make another paycheck that is available to disable vets. Social Security Disability. Now we are talking money. For me that is a start then I get another check from California. I was a Correctional Peace Officer and was injured on the job. Never mind how much that one is. Just be aware that with just the 3 that I gave to Vet will put them over and above Welfare Recipients.
