Amazing, isn't it?
How can ancestry be traced by so easily?
I was thinking 23 & Me or Ancestry and then found out that they testing they do is recent familial history.

Maybe someday.

I hope it was a pleasant surprise. I am not so sure that genetic surprises are always good.

Especially if they are medical surprises. Or a racist who discovers he's part sub-Saharan African, has to resign from the KKK.

I went to see Siddhartha Mukherjee a couple of nights ago. He wrote The Emperor of All Maladies. His newest book is The Gene: An Intimate History. Interesting stuff. We got his book with the price of admission.
