First off, citing a blog as a source is pure laziness. Blogs are only ever 2nd hand information and conjecture.
But the questions posed
"why did the USA have a consulate in B******i and what was really going on there and of course, why wasn't outside aid and rescue attempted?"
Are answered by;
A CIA quick reaction force ignored orders to wait & went into the compound, where they repelled 60 terrorists & saved 5 Americans"
This is the obvious reason why the Administration and the State department were less than straightforward in their statements. They were hiding the CIA presence from the general public.
I'm not excusing that or even saying it is a valid approach.
What I would love to know, is why is the right so fixated on this?
Do you honestly think Obama sits in a swiveling chair stroking a white cat in his lap plotting to get state dept staff k**led?
