Obamacare is still unconstitutional

Obamacare is still unconstitutional but neither the legislative or judicial branch will do anything about it.

The Supreme court ruled that the penalty for not buying health care is unconstitutional if it is a fine or penalty, but OK if it is a tax.

Obama said on national TV while pushing for Obamacare to be enacted that it was not a tax.

After the SC ruling he said it is a tax..

Legislating of taxes must originate in the House of Representatives, but if my memory serves me correctly, Obamacare originated in the Senate. That should make Obamacare illegal.

Am I correct, or have I overlooked or misinterpreted something.

You are right. One Supreme Court Justice, and I cannot remember which one, once said, "The Constitution is what we say it is." The whole basis for liberalism and Obama is the end justifies the means. That is why our country is in the shape it is in with much worse to come.

Considering the job situation in the US as a whole, I would like to know how a man who has no job is expected to pay for healthcare when he is going to a foodbank to obtain the food to feed his family because his job was shipped overseas? It doesn't make sense to me. As to it being unconstitutional, all of us went to school when they still taught civics, knows that what is being done is not what are forefathers ever had in mind.

U.S.A. has the most expensive Medical care in the world out of 191 countries, according to the U.N. Health Care Maintenence Organization because is a monopoly in the hands of greedy profiteers and money makers. U.S.A. occupied 37 place in quality of Medical care, behind FRANCE, GERMANY, U.K., SPAIN, TAIWAN, JAPAN, and the Scandinavians countries, etc.

Gerard, in the countries you listed Doctors do not get sued for malpractice, they are protected class under the Gov't. We need tort reform to reduce costs.

TIM:
We don't need tort reforms in U.S. we have to increase the penalty to Doctors who committed malpractice. Here in Las Vegas a very famous gastroenterologist from INDIA living in $ 8 million dollars home t***smitted HIV and HEPATITIS C to several patients in his clinics using the same syringe to save money, and now an Urologist Dr. KAPLAN very famous in Las Vegas had 2 counts indictments for the same violation to save few $$$ and trasmitting diseases. Some patients already died. Many Drs. in U.S. are criminals and practising medicine with impunity.
