I know it is 3 am Thursday October 17, but I woke up with a solution to the current Debt Ceiling Crisis. If there is no resolution of this crisis by 10 PM, Democrats should be "true to their word" and bring up the House Debt Ceiling Bill for a v**e. It is a win-win for the good of the country and possibly for the Democrats. It will show the American people that Congress can do its job and solve a "crisis" situation. It will show the American people who are v****g for the "good of their country" and who are v****g for "their own pocket books". If Obamacare (ACA) is going to be the success that Democrats say it will be and if Democrats say that they are v****g for the good of their country, then it is a no brainer that the bill will pass and the debt ceiling crisis will have been averted. More after I get my needed rest and see what goes on in Congress tomorrow. In the meantime Americans should call on Congress to resolve their differences between the House and Senate and start working on ways to reduce the National Debt. If Congress is willing to work for the good of the Country, it will be as easy as "abc".

Old Owl, even when I tried to reach my State's Dems & Repubs, I get nothing but this is bad and we don't know how to fix it. Hell, one of my reps in his talk on the Senate floor, didn't even mention White Sands. I feel that most of the elite have lost touch with the ones they serve. I really do believe & hope that they do resolve this before midnight of the 16th. I would like to suggest that we "the people" have a silent prayer....praying for both sides get out of their single minded stupor and awake refreshed to pass what is necessary for our Great Nation to thrive.

If you truly believe that anyone in DC cares what we think or want, you are in for a rude awakening. All of this "Crisis" is carefully managed to seal the outcome of the 2014 e******ns. It has nothing to do with "Us", and to think otherwise is just folly. They will do what is required to ensure that we are kept dependent on them to even exist.

We no longer have three branches of Government - The Legislative and Judicial Branches are 100% dictated to by the Executive Branch.
