Nuclearian Loc: I live in a Fascist, Liberal State

At the White House on Tuesday, President Obama delivered a statement and took questions from reporters on the partial government shutdown and the ongoing fight over raising the federal debt ceiling. I think that the only thing worse than having to endure the interminable effluvia of falsehoods was having to hear them over and again as he flapped his meaty, deceitful lips for an entire hour.

Obama’s oratory was a study in redundancy, fearmongering and demagoguery. Singling out tea-party Republicans for demonization and repeatedly employing such terms as threats, chaos, ransom, catastrophe and even nuclear bomb, he blatantly lied again and again about having been willing to “work with” Republicans all along and fiscal realities in general.

As I have been wont to say in recent weeks, Obama’s message, and that of the Democratic congressional leadership, at this point appears to be tailored for the most intellectually indolent, vapid couch potatoes. Even more disturbing is the militant rhetoric being used by Obama and his surrogates; in recent days, they have referred to Republican lawmakers as “hostage-takers” and “terrorists” with “bombs strapped to their chests.”

It is important to realize that the debt ceiling issue is a smoke soldier. It is only Obama and progressives in Congress (be they Democrat or Republican) who believe that failure to achieve a rise in the debt ceiling is equivalent to the Earth spinning off of its axis. The debt ceiling is an arbitrary, imaginary figure that only serves to facilitate progressives’ ongoing profligate spending. With regard to the government defaulting on its debt, this is simply laughable as well as an economic impossibility. Government debt as such doesn’t work the same way as that of a family or a business; there are constitutional provisions for America’s debt to be paid, no matter what – but far too few news-consuming Americans are aware of this.

It is Obama’s obstinacy that so many are finding troublesome. Cited as being unprecedented, this ought not be a surprise, since having a revolutionary Marxist in the White House is also unprecedented. His modality has become that of a dictator, as evidenced by those who have recognized this and articulated the same. On Monday, Arizona state Rep. Brenda Barton posted on her Facebook page that “Someone is paying the National Park Service thugs overtime for their efforts to carry out the order of De Fuhrer [sp],” likening Obama to N**i despot Adolf Hitler.

By now, Americans have learned of some of the more tyrannical actions on the part of the Obama administration with regard to his enforcement of the partial government shutdown. As if petty actions such as going out of the way to curtail access to open-air memorials and parks weren’t enough, we have now learned that the Obama administration dispatched federal thugs to evict octogenarians who have lived for decades in homes that happen to be located on federal lands.

Nothing even close to resembling these practices has ever been carried out during the numerous government shutdowns that have taken place in recent decades, and this shutdown has been of such minor import in terms of impacted services that it has been nicknamed a “slimdown.”

As in the sequester however, the White House is cherry-picking those areas and services that will inconvenience and harm the American public at large. As reported in the Newburyport Daily News and several other venues, at Yellowstone National Park, groups of senior citizens staying at the park’s Old Faithful Lodge were restricted to the building and threatened with arrest when they attempted to venture outside to take photos. Following this, the guests were locked inside the hotel, with armed rangers at the doors. Some foreign visitors reportedly became terrified, thinking they were under arrest. Similar, less severe affronts are being reported across the country at all manner of federally administered locations.

While a portion of this strategy has been to put political pressure on Republicans to capitulate, the real intention has been to evidence government might, to show the American people who is in charge.

This, gentle reader, is tyranny, the tyranny of a narcissistic sociopath and lifelong student of Marxism whose end game is to usurp complete power. All of the historical signs of c*******t ascendancy are present in this administration and in this president.

What more evidence do we need?
