I would say that this may have been the real beginning of the end for any Fox people to attend those briefings. In this case it was the most disliked Fox reporter, in Carney's view, that exists. It is time for them to send someone like Brit Hume who won't be ignored. Of course, when you don't want to have to answer hard questions it is best to go to the people who throw only softballs.

There is a good chance that the cooler heads you refer to are the old heads of the establishment and so many of us want them turned out of the party.

Carney avoided that man because he knew the question would be something he didn't want to deal with and that he would have to answer somehow since that man doesn't give in to him easily. You know that as well as I do.
