Peter King R-NY, is announcing that a deal will be made, and the teatard causcus has done enough damage to republican brand. While this is great for President Obama and democrats, it is time to get the country back to normal.
But the blame will hang on to the teatards like the foul stench they are.

how ya doin`blo?, this is just a small battle of many to come in the not-to-distant future in DC. ultimately, the tea party will trump both parties in the not-to-distant future simply for the fact that they espouse the constitution just the way it is. their biggest battle for political dominance will be, of course, the democrats with its very 'socialized existance' which, of course, goes against the constitution. the tea party will run this country like a business, not like a whorehouse in which it is being run like at the present. no doubt, this shutdown is scaring repubs simply for the fact that the average american has only sort-term attention span in matters involving the government which accomplishes nothing for the future. the repubs have long-term att. span...so you see the problem they have. i looked up your link for a laugh. 24% favorable for repubs???? c,mon blo, you gotta do better than that! i see the link is from MSLSD news which is like the saturday morning cartoons we usesta` watch back in the day. i'm actually surprised that all the newsmakeruppers at 'acid trip' news...that their eyes are pointing in the same direction when on TV. blo, we been through this.

It's really funny the tea party was only founded what 5-6 years ago and they have scared the pooh out of king Obama to the point of sicking his tax collectors after them, called them t*****rs and terrorists and shuts the entire government down to stop them. I don't think they like us very much he he he.

Does anybody here study history?
It really does repeat itself. It was the Whig party collapse that brought about the Republican party. Now the TeaParty may replace the Republican.

Polorization is not an all bad thing, and it is what is expected to happen.

You are correct Tim, there has been differing points of view sometimes hotly contested points of view from day one. What makes our country great is that we actually get to discuss and argue our ideas and not go to jail for treason and s******n.

I fear the thought police have forgotten that.

Amen, Amen, and Amen. The differing points of view I welcome as it helps me to understand and sharpen my own thinking. And, in some cases a well presented reasoning has been know to change my opinions. I welcome the discourse.

As far as those Thought Policemen, well, suffice it to say, I am waiting for my door to get kicked in and taken off to Indefinite Detention.

Between the teatards and the Repukelican fear of them, this country just about crashed and burned. It still will if No Boner Boehner don't take control of his Party pretty quick and set this country back on it's feet.

The Tea Party did not lose, America did. We no longer live in a free country, welcome to socialism.

The Democrats will NEVER get this country back on it's feet, your current living standard is as best as it is going to get under Democrat control. Obamacare is a good example, it's not about better and cheaper healthcare, but it is all about government control. You can not keep expanding government and entitlements, and still have a robust economy. The days of the USA as a world economic and military superpower are over. Obama, Reid, Pelosi, et al, have seen to that.

The Democrats, Republicans, Independents, nor anyone else will get this Country back on It's feet so long as the idealogues like the tea party and others practice such venomous h**e filled politics. That's whats tearing this country apart more than anything else.

You sir, are so wrong. I don't know what kind of medication you're on, but you're talking out the wrong end of your body. Like many liberals, and many on this forum, you are listening to the biased media and other l*****ts bashing of the Tea Party. You sir, have no clue what the Tea Party is all about....you think you do, but you don't.

I once ran a test by some of my liberal friends who also believed this nonsense you espouse, in which I made a list of what all the Tea party stood for...only I didn't mention the Tea Party. I asked them if they stood for any of these same principles that I listed, and to a tee, they all said they did. Man, you should have heard the grumbling, and gasps I heard when I informed them that I had just listed the principles of the Tea Party! I bet, you would fall for the same test, my friend.

The tea party lost this round the moment it's agenda was derailed. Bet that.

Unlike you and other teatards, I have lost nothing. I am doing quite well, and I want others to do well. I support the ACA so that more will have access to healthcare routinely, not just when it is necessary to use and ER. The many lies and distortions the teatards and their media mouthpieces spout show not only selfishness and greed, but a true lack of understanding of the necessity of national helath plans. While single payer would be best, the howls of protest from the stupid will delay that for a few years.
But to humor the dumb, just what is it that you have lost, or are about to lose? And be specific, because terms like 'personal freedoms' are just that, personal opinions of how societal behaviors impact any individual.
