I am doing something I don't often do and that is to quote a request by a very right leaning blog for support. None of this is anything I don't believe in but is worded better than I could do it.

We get these actions from a White House that claims it will never negotiate if any of the debate is about Obamascare. We have even heard that the NPS people have been told to make these actions hurt as bad as possible. I guess most people don't know that the federal government owns about 30% of the land in the nation. Yep, they have been gobbling it up lately and now we can see why.



Do It My Way Or I'll Show You Who's The Boss.

It's both ironic and pathetic that Barack Obama is calling patriotic Americans like you and me "extortionists," "anarchists," and "arsonists" when any reasonable person can clearly see that the only person who is behaving like an extortionist is Barack Obama.

In recent days, the Obama Regime has:

Closed open-air monuments, memorials and parks to veterans and patriotic Americans, but then opened the National Mall (which was supposedly closed) to i*****l a***ns to stage a massive Amnesty rally.

Thrown tax-paying Americans out of their privately owned homes because those homes apparently stood on government land. Nevada CBS affiliate KTNV reported: "Joyce Spencer is 77-years-old and her husband Ralph is 80. ... The Spencers never expected to be forced out of their Lake Mead home, which they've owned since the 70s, but on Thursday, a park ranger said they had 24 hours to get out."

Informed civilian chaplains that they could face prison if they dared to celebrate Mass on military installations during this phantom shutdown. According to John Schlageter, the General Counsel for the Archdiocese of Military Services, civilian chaplains were informed that "During the shutdown, it is illegal for them to minister on base and they risk being arrested if they attempt to do so." What's next? Will doctors face jail time for rendering services that are not approved under ObamaCare?

Ordered the National Park Service to close privately run marinas, restaurants and inns throughout the country that are on government land. In some cases, the National Park service was ordered to post guards to keep people from using these privately owned establishments during the government shutdown. By the way, the federal government owns about 30 percent of the total land-mass of the United States.

Closed the Atlantic Ocean. You read that right. In what can only be described as dictatorial and delusional hubris, Barack Obama's National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida, who must have access to the ocean to make a living, that the Florida Bay was closed due to the shutdown, and that closure of public beaches was just one of many examples.

It's time for our elected officials to answer a very important question: Do we live in the United States of America or the once defunct Soviet Union?

Sorry, Gerard, but I don't think you have a very good grasp on what some of those terms mean and what is involved. Yes the debt has climbed about $7 trillion since Obama came to office and he does brag that he cut the deficit in half, but if you look at it you find that he has cut the deficit from his second year in half. Of course, that deficit was around $700 billion and he has cut it to about $4 billion. That is the annual amount and he has been raising the debt by at least $1 trillion each year.

I must call to your attention the fact that the Supreme Court v**e was 5 - 4. Chief Justice said he v**ed with the progressives because he viewed the law as a tax law and that he had to v**e no if you looked at as anything else. This thing will get back there, maybe not soon enough, but the next time it will be because of the Origination Clause of the Constitution and it will die at that time. You do know what the Originiation violation was, don't you?

Mathematics is exact science, the only thing I know is that the Federal deficit in 1980 under President Carter was 69 billions, with President Reagan increased to 3 trillion, with President Bush Sr. increased to 5 trillion, them President Clinton balanced the Federal budget 4 years and left a surplus 1.3 trillion dollars, them President Bush Jr. came in 2000 and giveaway the 1.3 billion surplus dollars that he said was the people money and lowered the taxes, declared the war in the middle east without money and increased the Federal deficit to 8 trillions dollars and left office with the catastrophe in WALL St. that President Obama has to bailout and the Federal deficit now is 16.7 trillion dollars with the war still going on. CAN YOU BLAME PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR THE DEFICIT NOW ?.

I don't know where you got your numbers but some of them were the debt numbers and some deficit. I hope someone from the left explains some of this to you since I can't.

Don't be so smart Mr. Oldroy, I am talking Federal deficits since 1981 after the I.R.S. Tax reform passed in the U.S. Congress and signed by President Reagan, I don't care the U.S. Government debt because with 16.7 trillion dollar deficit now the U.S.A. is going to hell no matter the shutdown now. If you believe in GOD start praying now.

We aren't hearing the Glorious Leader tell us that if he is not given more than $1 trillion additional money the government will remain shutdown and the Republicans will continue to be blamed, are we? He has already increased the debt over $7 trillion in 5 years and although he has promised to bring the troops out of Afghanistan in 2014 he still needs that much money in his expense account. You are doing a very good prog job of trying to show that it is all Bush's fault that he is still spending like a drunken sailor and Obama has never been in the Navy or any other military service.

You do need to get control of the numbers you grow around and then show me what Obama has done, up to now, to indicate a willingness to negotiate and not demand so many things.
