AuntiE be nice. He isn't as young as he once was you know. Things happen to us the older we get the more we forget, the more we forget the less we remember. Life is tough, now where did I put my coffee cup?

The coffee cup is right next to you. You are unable to see it, because you cannot find your glasses.

Hey, I got the highest score in my class (even though I am around ten years older than everyone else) ! Cut me a little slack here. Besides, advanced economics is freaking hard.

Married to an Econ major. No slack....ok, maybe a little since you kicked the youngsters derrières.

I still expect a 100% next time.

That is probably not going to happen, accounting is like my worst subject. I still expect an A but it will never be 100%.
Neither will I get 100% in calculus, (if it was not required, I never would have taken it).

Now my psych classes, I fully expect 100% in, they are my favorite courses and since I already hold degrees in sociology and human behavior, I better get a 100%.

:D

My final in business management is the big one. I have to provide an in depth business plan for opening my own business including filling out loan applications, permit processes, applying for both LLC, and CORP, excise number registration (taxes), real estate acquisition, etc.etc.etc. .
I also have to present a detailed thesis to a three member board. That will happen the first week of Dec. and honestly it scares the hell out of me.

I would offer to send 100% thoughts toward you; however, 2 + 3 is 6 to me. Honey chile (southern dialect)' you bring home a passing grade of any kind in Calculus and you are golden! :!: :!:

Those psych grades may depend somewhat on who your professors instructors were and where they matriculated. Some parts are basic; however, when you move outside basics it becomes theory against theory can create problems. Those are the times you haul out the diplomacy card.

Please tell me the three member board has actually ever worked outside academia!!!!!!! If such is not the case, I would wear men's depends for the event. You are ahead of your classmates as you actually have a current plan working and have real life experience. I know it I none of my business, but.....busybody here. Try and find out the three members names. Do some background. If they have not run a business, research their writings on business philosophy. If they have had business experience, again, background it. I know, nag, nag, nag, lecture, lecture, lecture. Remember the standard phrase, "It is for your own good." :-)

I missed the married to an Eco major earlier, maybe I should have picked his brain for a 100.
The UW Dean of Education notified me who my board members will be, they are very qualified.
As for psychology I could not have been assigned to a better professor (I was actually her teaching assistant for two semesters). She once said to me a very meaningful comment, "psychology is an area where personal feelings, opinion, emotion, and personal beliefs serve no purpose but to muddle the understanding of the t***h, and therefore constrain ones ability to act in a beneficial manner for the people we are trying to help".

He is currently trying to determine whether to offer an Econ seminar to Congress relative to debt.  perhaps you would care to join in said educational process.

I am glad you have been able to know who you have to present to. Do what I said about some backgrounding on their attitudes, style, etc. it cannot hurt.

As to your psychology professor's statement, I am not sure I can agree in totality. I think leaving emotion totally out of psychology makes for a very cold manner, somewhat like a zero personality unfeeling doctor. Certainly, my personal opinion and the fact I am an emotional type.

You took that too literally. She was speaking of the clinical side of psychology in which a determination of disorder and treatment are concerned. There are two spheres in which a psychologist must operate, therapeutic, and clinical. Therapeutic is the direct interaction with the person to gather information and attempt to ease the symptoms they may be experiencing. Clinical is the diagnosis of what disorder they are suffering from and determining an appropriate treatment based on what you have learned from the person as an individual, through therapy.

An effective psychologist knows how to separate the two spheres.

It is really to bad that I can not get licensed as a psychologist. I think I would make a good one.

Considering the tirade I am on on another forum, you could possibly start your practice immediately with me. Currently I have avoided blasting every single vulgar phrase available and TRUST me it is a near thing.

Just remember, you and you alone are responsible for your reactions. Just because people try their best to provoke you, does not mean you have to let them. People can only pull out of you what you allow them to. If you are like me, I let them pull it out just to feed my own desire for confrontation, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Geez, you are a literal person. I actually would have avoided the issue ramping me; however, two of my confederates requested I read the forum premise. Lite me like a rocket. Let us see how this works for you. Your avatar shows you in a church venue. Try the forum "Two far too intelligent views of the state of US Politics". My perception is it is pure hypocrisy to suggest Christians step up, yet when such occurs the attempts to fill a need are met with resistance or totally shutdown. My comments are strictly based on my community.

DO NOT try me on currently.
