Bo I want you to explain if in fact what you say is true. Explain to me why Detroit went bankrupt. There has not been a republican in office since the 50's. You really need to get your facts straight. Stop spouting opinion and at least try to back it up with some honest facts. Not spew some crap based on pure speculation. You bring up the Tea Party as the problem. The Tea Party has only been around for a short time. You have the nerve to blame them for people being poor. You have no Idea what the Tea Party stands for. Bunch of things went bad for Detroit. The jobs which supplies the auto makers went overseas.. Had much to do with cost of labor and materials. But the key was with the Gipper and the impact of globalization, with changes in taxation and accounting it became a nobrainer for them to move to oversea suppliers. So both jobs and taxation revenue vanished from our country..

Snyder replaced the Marxist Jennifer Granholm, who really only made Detroit's problems worse by sitting in Kwami's lap. Michigan under her leadership was going down the tubes with Detroit.
