Last evening on a forum, the subject of grandchildren entered. A member was speaking about his grandson was a good kid, another said his was and another was diplomatic about entering the fray.
Here is your chance. There are rules. With Aunti, there are always rules, right. :-)
They CANNOT be great just because they are yours. You have to have something better than that. Th gentleman last evening was proud because his grandson had learned a great deal about he Constitution and was able to see where it was being ignored. Maybe they started a food drive. Maybe they take time to listen to what you have to say when they visit.
We have one member, who shall remain nameless (Slatten49) who has twenty-two. Heaven help us with the length this forum could progress with just his.
Ready, start.....GO
NO POLITICS :!: :!: :-P :!:
I feel like I'm being set-up! Yes, the Sgt. Major and I have 22 grandchildren, within our "blended" family. We have been married about 20 years, and each brought their own brood into our family. It has grown, since!
I will think a while before making occasional entrys onto this forum. I cannot risk or afford the overload on my computer or electrical system in my house with a novel on grandchildren.
I will say that they are all special in that they put up with a crusty, cantankerous, old Marine like their grandfather! For that, each deserves a medal for tolerance and understanding! Mostly, they just tolerate and pity this old fool.
You are a mean woman, AuntiE! :hunf:

How is it mean for me to provide my fellow site members a way to share with us their special grandchildren?
Geez, even I could have started your grandchildren bragging with L of softball wonderfulness and talent, though she does have to wear a pitiful color. :-)

The only pitiful, sad color she wears is the reddish-pink of embarrassment I provide her with my appearances by the dugout, during the games! :thumbup:Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You actually go into the dugout to harangue the poor child?
Although I am aware you were he coach for a long time, do you somehow feel the coach of the Lady Longhorns is not up to the task of guiding her?

No, I have been "banned" from the actual dugout. I have to settle for just above it, in the stands. I can issue forth embarrassing moments from such a vantage point!

It is obvious your son and daughter-in-law raised a wonderful young woman to endure such embarrassment. :(

A Marine is only pathetic to the L*****t Progressives. Even when the Marines come to their rescue.

I may need "rescuing" after my last PM to AuntiE. I revealed our probable visit during the holidays. In doing so, I told her of our likely d********g behavior and contemptible eating habits!
I told her we would be ashamed of ourselves, in lieu of her absence. I doubt she sees any possible regret on our parts.

I am not speaking to your buddy. He hurt my feelings.  iIt will concern me if he participates in contemptible eating habits; however, he is on his own currently.

Some Marines are pathetic when they are unkind to gentle, kind site confederates.

Are we in need of an "intervention", here, folks?

As you are the cause of his hurting my feelings, one has to question how you could be of any intervention assistance.

So, as I understand it, we are both "in the doghouse"?
Would some "puree'ed" BBQ serve as an apology?
I take full responsibility for my buddy, Saltys', behavior. He was simply, loyally, following my lead. He should not be punished for my egregious behavior. :-(
