Who's fault is this anyway?

Obama and his cronies are on the march again to blame the Republicans for everything from the shutdown to the itch on their backsides. For two days prior to the shutdown the House Republicans were in session trying to figure out a way to stop it, where were the democrats? No where to be seen, they simply did not show up.
The republicans fought to fund the government to avoid a shutdown while the dems preferred to fund Obamacare, but the shut down is republicans fault. You would have to have a very warped sense of reality to see this as the Republicans fault.

Plain and simple though, Obama is the president of the country. The burden of fault ultimately falls on his shoulders. If you are a CEO of a company that fails, your share holders are going to hold you responsible. The same applies with the president. The government essentially failed and Obama is the CEO, we are the share holders. There is only one person to blame here, and that is the leader.

But as we think of figure pointing somebody to be responsible for the failure of this project we should check our role in sustaining this project. that means we should check the coin from both size so that we can come up with concrete evidence to either blame the leader or ourselves.

Thanks

The Tea Party is at fault. They have held the Republicans and America hostage.

It is the TEA PARTY who attached undermining the law of the land to a funding bill.

It is the TEA PARTY who rejected 18 attempts by dems to come to an agreement BEFORE this debacle.

It is amazing how a small group of people, representing only 18 percent of America can destroy the most powerful country in the world....

The democrats and Obama wanted this shutdown so they could blame the republicans and would do anything to bring it about! They defied congress to do anything that would reduce the size of budget even to the point of ridicule of some of the republicans that were trying to reduce the debt. The dems got exactly what they wanted and to hell with the people!

Please don't blame the tea party for destroying the country. They are trying to hold our elected officials to the real law of the land. The US constitution. Was this the right strategy? the right time? I don't know about that. But anytime an elected official stands up for his constituents that is the right thing to do.
that is actually their job, kinda nice to see any official doing that. If there is blame to be placed I would put it on those who refuse to negotiate. That is the way it is suppose to work no one gets everything they want but each side gets a little something.
And The President is the leader and is suppose to take the leadership role negotiate with both sides, not bad mouth and whine because he isn't getting everything he wants.

Hey, Redneck if you are one!

Let't get this straight. Obama is the one who said he would not negotiate so he sends Reid who also said in many words he would not negotiate either.

As an independent, my opinion Obama is nothing but a bully who whines and whines like a cry baby because he cannot get everything his way. He has the mentality of a community organizer and cannot bring himself that he may be wrong. Sorry, but he is out of his league.

What, if anything, do you think should be done about President Obama breaking 'the law of the land' by refusing to implement the employer mandate?

Absolutely true. This is how the Democrat Party has worked for over 50 years that I can account for. It is a party of force, NOT interested in working with their counterparts, but FORCING everything they want onto republicans and others. But there was a time when they were at least subtle - now the Democrats are crass, crude, nasty, and evil. I find it hard to believe they are even American, and they certainly do not exhibit any love or caring for any of their fellow Americans. I once respected the Democrat Party, now I merely tolerate it because there is nothing I can do to cause it to shut down.

Democrats of today are not the republicans' opponents - they are the ENEMIES of decency and goodness, and they aren't even subtle about it. Democrats want war within this country - it is too obvious to ignore. Every issue is a rude and crude challenge. They know how to make enemies and they are darned good at it. What angers them the most is that Republicans are smart enough to avoid the war, but unfortunately for America, the pubbies are not smart enough to counter the rude behavior, the nastiness, the hatred, that the political left dumps on the American public day in and day out. Their brains are eaten up with hatred - and I think they are all sociopaths, mentally damaged.

You do understand that the congress is responsible for spending and the budget and if the US doesn't have enough money to pay for Obamacare are you going to fund it yourself! If it is the law and we can't find any money to pay for it then congress has an obligation to defund it!
