Hi just want to say hello to everyone. I'm new to commenting on the web but feel the need to express my concerns about global politics. From what I've seen of this site and forums I feel sure I have made the right choice. The PC moguls appear to want to control our every thought and deed stifling free speech and smothering any chance for individuals to grow and develop.
I was in Athens in 1979 and remember the celebrations when Greece signed to join the Common Market, my heart goes out to that proud nation who gave us democracy. We hear of threats to impose similarly harsh sanctions on other member states if they don't toe the party line. Political leaders are humiliated and snubbed if they chose to make a stand for democracy. Others fearful for their own safety choose to remain silent.
Soon the voices of reason will become few and silent.

i am 76 years, a US Navy vet from 1950's, All of my 6 brothers and myself enlisted we were not drafted. my great great grandfather was a receiver of a land grand deed from the Continental Congress for services to the cause of freedom and liberty. i believe in our Constitution as written. Anyone who changes 1 dot or 1 title is a t*****r, the guilty if you check history are always democrats in the dark of night, in secret places, and always with deception. Social Security has help many and has actually been destroyed the Dems, since took all the cash and left iou.
