This is nothing more than tovarisch Obama throwing his left wing base a sop. The Senate will not ratify, and even if they did, the Supreme Court ruled, in Reid v Covert 1957, that the US Constitution takes precedence over any treaty or agreement that is repugnant to the Constitution. As long as we let the Senate know we are watching them, this "Treaty" is nothing but a butt wipe. Hopefully, the 80,000,000 gun owners in this country learned their lesson about staying home during the last e******n. Only 60 some million total v**ed for Obama. This means millions of gun owners either did not v**e, or v**ed for the Comrade. It would serve them right if they did have their firearms confiscated, as long as it only affected them, and not the rest of us who did v**e.

One MUST pay close attention to how exceedingly close the last v**e on this matter was in the Senate.
