I am a 76 year old white male of modest means.
Still work a few hours a day. Have a home, an income property, & a few dollars in the market Have a wife of 50 years 7 children, 11 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.

I am quite conservative by nature but not politically.

I feel that the deck is stacked against the average person.

I feel government is not of & for the people at this time.

I believe that most people for the most part are good.
I look for the good in people more than looking for the bad.

I believe that those of us here no matter how different we may seem can come to agreement as how to make the world a better place.

I believe that we are more alike than different. We have most of the same problems in life & we can find ways to solve them & still get along.

I believe I can give an open mind to all I read here.

Sounds like Floyd Brown persona is a keeper.

You believe that most people for the most part are good? Oh how Jeffersonian of you!

For once I find this sort of optimism refreshing.

I agree with Ghost. You sound like the kind of guy I could enjoy a camping weekend with, and share interests.

Outside of my being 64, I find your capsule biography much similiar to mine. The few posts I have run across of yours are reasonably aligned with any response I might have to the subject posted. We are both unapologetic optimists. One of my mottos is, "Always hope for the best, but prepare for the worst." It has served me well.

Glad to have you aboard.

I am 50 and it really has more to do with the River of time you came from. I came from the seventies, where leave to Beavor was the social values taught and the Brady Bunch was ground breaking. Our country from which I will draw these harsh statesments has changed and not for better. People have less morals and little conscious at all anymore. The girls of today have babydaddy' and have little morals at all. The boys of this generation are lazy and are the product of the "time out generation coming to fruition". This new generation and I speak of the most criminal generation to hit our country in my lifetime, is the worst. But what can you expect from a liberal mindset that comes up with : everybody gets a trophy, and the victim mindset that has become our political system. Women have been raised or trained to use men, marry, divorce, taking everything leaving and labeling the man on the way out, to find her next victim. Truly why any boy would want to marry after seeing his dad slaughtered by outdated family law... would even consider marriage is beyond me. But watch out when it comes to thinking everybody has a kind and generous soul oor thought pattern because they will take from everything and anything from you.... without any thought to the harm it will do you

You are right that there are those things are out there.

If we are looking for bad it is not hard to find it.

But the main thing is we are out there together, & first we should look for the good in people. If we do that I think that over all people will start to look better.

I am very late to this forum.

I think some of the attitude by some people, as to finding good and/or bad, has to do with where they reside. Reality is urban areas have a large problem with the "bad" things mentioned to a larger degree. People in less urban areas are aware of the problems; however, are still able to retain some distance from the issues. There is a good and bad to the urban setting. The people tend, generalization on my part,to be either adamantly against assistance of any kind or willing to lend a helping hand.

Yes it sad out there but all we can do is hope. Try to teach and explain the t***hs og integrity anf honesty . While we ignore the arrogant and deceitful . Buy drawing in the good we hopefully will eventually deprive the bad from furthering their ranks
