As soon as it was pointed out to those who are interested in global events that the terror attack in Lebanon was virtually ignored prior to the tragedy in Paris we knew that mathematics and science would be applied.
Actually it is developed with smatterings of soft science...

STRANGE MAPS
The Geography of Empathy and Apathy

by FRANK JACOBS

Compassion is tricky. Solidarity is a minefield. Did you add the French tricolour to your Facebook profile picture? If not, are you a heartless bastard, or worse, an apologist for the terrorists who killed over 120 innocent civilians in Paris? But if you did, how long before it is acceptable to remove the unsightly bleu-blanc-rouge from your carefully curated profile pic?

And also: Why didn't you festoon your face with a Lebanese flag to show your sympathy for the dozens of victims of the twin suicide blasts in Beirut, just a day before the Paris attacks? I'm guessing it's not just because plastering a Lebanon cedar over your mugshot makes you look vaguely like a Christmas ornament. Perhaps it's because we are not as magnanimous as we think; our sympathy has limits — and those limits are, to a certain extent, geographic.

Did anyone see this story yesterday?

So you think that that 60 years in the US was "civilized"?
Even giving the US credit for the the few years before ratifying the Constitution what were people here doing in the 1850s? and 90 years in we managed to kill each other to the extent of 620K, that is 1000 times the number lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.
So I would say that Tunisia is doing pretty well so far.
They were raped of resources halfway through the 1950s by France.

What is it that you think is happening in Tunisia?
They were granted "independence" in 1956. After having two presidents/dictators consecutively for 55 years Tunisians initiated actions in the Arab Spring that gave them a new beginning.
So the history in the US is trying to help you to see where the people of Tunisia are.
No, they don't have the armed forces to go into Iraq and tear it apart like an evolved power structure of the US.
If they did rather than killing each other as we did during the Civil War they could travel half way around the world and kill hundreds of thousands of "others" like we did and like we will again if conservatives have their way.

You appear to be forgetting about the multitudes of Palestinian terrorist attacks against Jews happening everyday in Israel with little to no reporting by the lame stream media.

And no I'm not insulting, just pointing out a different perspective.

You really should read the article before telling people what they are forgetting.
I may only be forgetting the multiples of Israeli attacks against Palestinian children, the occupation of Palestinian lands, and the genocide of Palestinian adults.

Easy to solve, go away and play with the people who don't expect anyone to have the ability to think.

That's what the lame stream media wants you to believe. They're doing a bang-up job aren't they?
