Somehow, given your use of racist verbiage, and how you describe black folks, in general, that you actually attend a black church, I find very hard to believe. In fact, I doubt you even know where the closest African-American church to you is, let alone attend one.

Why the hyphenated race term? All of the black people I know can't really trace their roots to Africa, have never been to Africa, and consider themselves American.

I'm glad your experience at an African-American church was good. The fine folks in Charleston were very welcoming to the young white man who visited with them, too; just before he killed several of them in cold blood. His involvement in the 'white supremacy' movement gave him his feelings of racial superiority. And, he spouted much of the same thoughts as does Vernon.

Just as you get tired of hearing about the problems within the black community, they're just as tired of having to live with them on a daily basis. Fortunately for you though, you can always change the channel or change the topic of conversation. Changing their way of life isn't as easy; especially given the ambivalence of so many who haven't had the misfortune of experiencing life as they live it.

Lastly, who's blaming a 14 year old white kid for anything? What does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?

According to many of the African-Americans I know, they're preferred term for identification is: "African-American." As such, that's how I identify them. Some prefer to be called "black." But, they're in the minority. Another reason might be because of their geographic location. Most of those in the SE US, where I live, prefer "African-American." Those in other locations may prefer "black."

It would be nice if we all could drop the labels. But, seeing as it was the whites from Europe who gave rise to classifying racial differences and identification, we can't blame anyone but ourselves. Look it up if you don't believe me.

So, your 14 year old kid is a metaphor. My example wasn't. It was taken from real life black experience.

I'll ask you some honest questions. How would you react if you were denied a job because of your race? How would you react if you were followed around a store by "Store Security" immediately upon entering? How would you like it if you were charged a much higher interest rate for a loan just because of your race? How would you liked it if you were pulled over by the police because you were a different color than the majority of people living in the neighborhood you were driving through? How would you like it if shortly after moving into a new neighborhood, suddenly most of your new neighbors had "For Sale" signs posted in their front yards? How would you like it if you were hired to do a job and discovered you were paid less than your white counterparts, yet you were equally qualified in every area of the job requirements?

Every one of my questions is taken from actual and verified events of discrimination against African-Americans. And, every event occurred no longer than 10 years ago.

1 i would sue its simple.and i would get a wheel barrow full of money.

2 i wouldent like it ,but i have seen stores closed by shop lifters and they were all in black areas

3 i wouldent like it but lets look at the loss rate from money loaned to blacks as compared to any other race.

5 i wouldent consider moving unless the crime rate went up face it black spells crime.hell they had cop shot in jefferson parish just yesterday.he was serving a summons and got shot three times.oh that was in the infamous 9th ward.

6 a new hire shouldent start at the same rate as the older employees until he proves himself on the job.raises come with time served no one in his right mind would start a person at the top rate as a person who has been on the job for a much longer time.

You're no more a black person than I am. You're just a simple-brained, white racist that has to put others down so you can feel superior to them. Somewhere down the line, you were made to feel inferior to someone or a group of someones. So, in order to find some sort of self-value, you used the same tactic used on you and applied it to blacks and other minorities.

BTW- I don't "hate" you. But, I am very disappointed that, in this day and age, you would still hold on to racist/segregationist values. That's why I'm calling you out. When you stop seeing minorities as inferior to you, and see them as "people" like you, you'll start to have the scales lifted from your eyes.

You needn't have to put others down in order to build yourself up. Those are the tactics of a bully. Not caring about others, like you and Archie have said, indicate someone who is conceited and self-centered. None of these personality characteristics are of any value; especially if they're misconstrued to be a show of self-confidence.

If you wouldn't like the treatment, why should African-Americans like it. Like with whites, it's the very small percentage of people that commit the crimes, but according to you, all must suffer "...and get over it."

BTW- In #6, the black was qualified in ALL aspects. That means he had the same amount of time in. Why would you assume he's a new hire? It wasn't a 'trick question.'
