The new college academic year has begun, and unfortunately, so has student indoctrination. Let's look at some of it.

Every thing I read in this article is pretty much true in my opinion. I think this article may help explain why. http://beforeitsnews.com/opinion-conservative/2013/05/at-least-a-dozen-domestic-terrorists-teaching-at-american-colleges-2638208.html

Our education system seems to embrace those who have no place teaching our children, so indoctrination would be a very good description.

We've allowed the entire education system to be taken over by l*****t at every level - where some of the dumbest people are credentialed as the smartest, where the cost of less and less education rises more and more - paid for by either taxpayer dollars or the young people's future.

These intellectual bullies have an open shot at our most intellectually vulnerable citizens - the young.

Yeah, I am paying my current college $85,000 for my degree and I am not even allowed to express my own beliefs in the lecture hall. One of my psychology classes is Understanding Social Diversity Through Ethical Thinking. It should be named """""through liberal thinking. I did not go back to college at 47 years old to be force fed liberalism by an instructor who is the same age as my oldest son. I endure a lot of lip biting in order to keep my mouth shut so that I can actually pass the course. Bullies indeed.

Things have changed since my time in college. Although supposedly Liberal, I never had any problem with a free exchange of ideas. Two of my professors, although I disagreed with them on some things, they actually solicited my opinion, honestly, on a couple of issues, wanting a veterans viewpoint. I guess the days when at least some Liberals had an open mind are gone.

To put it simply, my grades are affected by whether or not I follow the instructors (this is plural, more than one instructor) idea of a quality discussion.

So much for a "free exchange of ideas," huh? I h**e to sound like an old fart, (I'm older than you) but it seems that when I was in school, there was at least lip service paid to that concept, and frequently it was actually practiced. I guess intellectual integrity is an idea whose time has come and gone. I'd probably fail those classes, I have a problem with keeping my mouth shut, especially around self righteous intellectuals who have zero real world experience, and try to make reality fit their theoretical constructs. You are like me, seeing these things from an entirely different viewpoint than, if you will pardon the expression, "Ivory Tower Theoreticians." Those of us who have BTDT have a little trouble with those who confuse pet theory with reality. This is, of course, their right, but not to try an impose some sort of intellectual despotism on people who may be, frankly, smarter and better informed. Thoughts?

way back in the fifties when I was still in school one of the c*******t leaders said "give us your child for five years and we will give you back a c*******t" we now they have them for thirteen to eighteen years!
