Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham criticized the U.S.-Russia agreement Saturday to disarm Syria of its chemical weapons, calling it “meaningless” and saying the agreement sends the wrong signal to Iran, which is suspected of building a nuclear weapon.

I say get a two seat F-16 jet fighter , and let McCain and Graham launch a bombing run on Damascus . If they get shot down and captured , we'll back'em up .

I agree, as long as we "back'em up" in the same manner as those we lost in B******i.

McCain is a genuine war hero, and was at one time an effective senator. It's time for him to sit down, and STFU.

I do not know if what is happening in Syria will result in peace , but just try and if the nerve gas is removed all the better , if Assad wins I do not want him to have nerve gas and if the rebels win I sure as hell do not want them to have nerve gas.
McCain and Graham just want a war irespective of the damage it will do to us.

And, who would Reagan retaliate against? The group Islamic Jihad, affiliated with Hezbollah and ultimately Iran, claimed responsibility for both attacks. An attack on Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard barracks was approved by Reagan, but Defense Secretary Weinberger lobbied successfully against the mission, because at the time it was not certain that Iran was behind the attack. But, Reagan did want revenge, they just didn't have a real target to go after. They did leave several U.S. Navy ships in the area (including the battleship New Jersey) for several months.

It is sort of meaningless. Without boots on the ground , which I oppose, there is simply no way of knowing how many Chem or Bio weapons they have. We never had an inventory and we must take Assads word on the quantity. And of course Putin will be covering for Assad.
