Our Never Ending Obama Nightmare

OldSchool Loc: Moving to the Red State of Utah soon!
 
It has been a long five years, our Obama nightmare. Sadly, there are no signs that things will improve anytime soon. Of course we know about the damage the President has done to our economy, by massively increasing the debt, raising taxes and growing government.

Things are ever so slowly headed down. Just a very small sample, was having my phone worked on at the Sprint store and several people were down grading their phones because they couldn't afford a smart phone with all the bells because cuts in hours. I figure if it's at one store it must be taking place at other as well.

I think the next three years may be even longer. Obummercare is going to kick off in October and who really knows what the true impact of that will be. Our health insurance has jumped up three times already from $187 a month to $330 in the last two years. Our grocery bill went up by $150 a month for the same stuff we bought just a year ago while our hours are being cut, no overtime anymore but paying more in taxes. Same story as every other working class American. What scares me the most about this Obama nightmare is that he is going to do so much damage that even if the Republicans take the white house in 2016, they will be unable to repair it.

The have and have nots is what this country is becoming, congress has you have not. Most of DC will have as they insulate themselves so as not to see it. Am much more conscience about what foods I buy as everything else. Everything has climbed but the income and now health insurance is about to take a hit.

For once I want a party to take control of the WH, democratic with everything else going republican that way a democrat takes the fall. If a republican wills the democrats will point all the blame at republicans.

One of the most overlooked documents in our history is the declaration of independence.The preamble says in part “...to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed—That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.”

Americans have forgotten that they have the right to do this. Not to mention if you do not enough people behind you the government can charge you with s******n, and you pretty much are vanished. The constitution and the declaration of independence, and other documents can work against the government, as easily as theywork for it. You just have to find a way to get the people off their asses to do something about it. That is almost impossible now that all of America's youth is indoctrinated to be just exactly what the liberals want them to be. Complacent, dependent, believers.

All may not be lost. Was bike riding today and ran into students from a local college. Two of them were kids of people we see from time to time so I sorta know them. We were on the bike trail so we all stopped at a rest area. Everyone of them v**ed for Obama but none are happy with what he's done. One of the kids said we should have paid more attention and this is going around campus with more talking about what went wrong. This a small school but there's got to be more like them. The biggest thing was government has gotten WAY to big and that they all agreed on.

Blocklanes has a point , with Texas more than likely going blue , seeing a republican president is getting farther and farther away , and their pool of candidates lacks any real viability
