Obama has now sabotaged four decades of stability in the Middle East -- and Vladimir Putin is ready to pick up the slack in Russia's old historical role.

Liberalism is a mental disorder and suffers from a malady that is too difficult to pronounce. Obama cannot help but associate himself with the record of recorded failures that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it

I am almost sure that Obama will fold. He is a coward, he does not know foreign policy, and he does not have the backing of Americans. Putin has nothing but aces, no reason to fold, he is well educated in foreign policy, and has the backing of Russians as well as our other former friends. To include the UK and OZ at this point.

An experienced KGB operative, and a narcissistic "community organizer." Like it or not, I know who I'm betting on.

Good call, Banjo. It appears that the Bear and the Eagle are again facing-off in the international arena, here's hoping the confrontation stays "cold."

For a fact, the "cold war" never ended, the USSR just needed time to catch their breath after attempting ---unsuccessfully--- to deal with President Reagan. Romney knew the Bear was still our greatest potential adversary, but the current occupant of the White House laughed at that notion, arrogantly telling Romney during one of their debates that "the cold war ended in the 80s." Apparently someone neglected to tell Putin that we're buddies.

Now more than ever we desperately need strong, effective leadership, but all we have is the buffoon in the White House, his court jesters, and the modern day carpetbaggers-for-life in Congress. We're in serious trouble...

I do not trust Obama any further than I can through my house, I do not think this will become WWIII. Putin is a wise man, he is sk**led in negotiation, and is much calmer and less reactionary than Obama. Obama will back down, he will fold because he has no support from the international community or from us, the American people.

Whereas it is true that the WH is filled full of people who want war, there are enough to combat the madness. War has traditionally been big business, but with us already involved in two other conflicts, and the raping that happened to diminish how many troops we have, sanity must prevail. We have already either mothballed, or sank most of our battle worthy ships, our Air Force is in the middle of swapping out planes, and our men on the ground are just worn out. This would be the worst possible time to go into another conflict. Besides, Obama is so wishy-washy that he garners no trust from our men and women in uniform. I think even his supporters, the b****s and Hispanics are beginning to see the true Obama.

The President's obvious inexperience coupled with his being worshipped as a God an added to this is the absence of fully developed intellectually endowed advisors to help steer his inabilities in a constrictive manner. However he is surrounded by his parishoners who appear to be nothing more than former University lounge lizards with a diploma of sorts and/or totally fraudulent university degrees (one actually was a fraud an rewarded for being a loyal democrat assigned to international advisor status!!!!!!!!) Kerry obtained her advice and Kerry may have found out that her advice was more lounge lizard than helpful and thus her lack of University credentials was uncovered.

Easy there, Jack. "Eagle" refers to the USA in general, NOT Mr. Soetoro, "Bear" to the USSR.

Delusional? I think not. The USSR has long been our nemesis, and little has changed since the 50s, save for a few personalities.

I was referring to Mr. Soetoro as in any way representative of "Eagle" as delusional. "Dodo Bird" would be more appropriate.

I'm going to remember those epithets for Barry. To date, all mine involve profanity.

So do mine, along with "Comrade" or "Tovarisch."

Moreover Senator McCain's recent visit to Syria to demonstrate support for the rebels is, in fact, a violation of the LOGON ACT which FORBIDS the conduct of foreign policy by anyone outside the executive branch of government..........http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2013/05/29/john-mccain-war-hero-or-something-less/
