"The US has blocked attempts by it's Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State jihadists in Iraq.
Some of America's closest allies say President Obama and other Western leaders including David Cameron are failing to show strategic leadership over the world's gravest security crisis for decades' They now say they are willing to "go it alone" in supplying heavy weapons to the Kurds, even if it means defying the Iraqi authorities and their US backers, who demand all weapons be channeled through Baghdad.
High level officials from Gulf and other states have told this newspaper that attempts to persuade Mr. Obama of the need to arm Kurds directly as part of more vigorous plans to take on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) have failed. The Senate v**ed down one attempt by supporters of the Kurds last month.
The officials say "they are looking for new ways to take the fight to ISIS without seeking US approval".
Kurdish commanders lament that while the collapse and surrender of the Iraqi army flooded ISIS arsenals with advanced US weaponry and armored vehicles, they themselves are largely forced to rely on light Soviet-era weapons and only a tiny number of anti-tank or heavy weapons.

Currently several European states have spent millions in purchasing new weapons for the Kurds-but all the much-needed equipment is currently sitting in storage due to the Obama administration blocking their t***sfer to the Kurdish forces/


The beheadings, cruxifixions, andother means ISIS uses to slaughter unarmed Christian and Yazidi men- from priests and bishops to destitute migrant workers-have been proudly displayed by ultra violent group on social media and have drawn condemnations worldwide. But the Islamic State's "revival" of the institute of chattel s***ery-sex s***ery of Christian and Yazidi women and girls no less-has faded from public attention.
Over the decade, thousands of Iraqi and Syrian Christians-including in 2013 an entire convent of Syrian Orthodox nuns have been taken and held captive for ransom. Last August shortly after ISIS established it's caliph**e something new happened. After capturing non Sunni women and girls ISIS began awarding them as sex s***es.


Pregnant women abducted and sold by Islamic state fighters are being forced to undergo a******ns leaving them unable to move or speak, freed Yazidi girls have revealed.
ISIS jiha would bring their own gynaecologists to 's***e markets' in the Sinjar region of Iraq where captured Yazidi women who were found to be pregnant would be subjected to painful a******ns so they could be used for sex
One woman, Bushra, 21, revealed that her friend was 3 months pregnant when captured, and that ISIS forced her to undergo an a******n.
Afterwards they brought her back. I asked her what happened and how they did it. She said "the doctors told her not to speak." Bushra told CNN
The young woman was bleeding heavily after the forced a******n, which left her in so much pain 'she could not walk or talk'
Another young Yazidi escapee NOOR, revealed the jihadist she was sold to waited 2 days before he forced himself on her. 'He showed me a letter and said "This shows any captured woman will become Muslim if 10 ISIS fighters rape her"
She told CNN that he proceeded to rape her before passing her on to 11 fellow fighters who forced themselves on her.


Obama is responsible for the slaughter and s***ery these poor people are enduring. Can anyone imagine if something like this had happened under a Republican president, and he refused to give support to any group fighting to stop it. Instead Americans have to listen to Obama excuse these atrocities by Islam, and watch as he infiltrates our government with radical Muslims
