Betty, its still on. Wanna drive a support truck? The ride is taking place, but will stop at every stoplight, obey all traffic laws and deny association as a group ride. Its ok for folks to ride motorcycles through DC anytime, its a free country. Traffic will be beyond horrible all day because the power that be wouldn't OK a ride through permit where DC police escort riders through intersections, on a set course. Instead it will be gridlock with thousands of bikes stuck at lights and such. No biggie. Gonna make the most of it. 12th anniversary of 911. Hope this helped. 73

Hey Bet, I love TX. I worked at FT. hood for a couple months installing video teleconferencing systems. K**leen is awesome. TV prolly wont show much, I just read they may try to funnel riders to areas away from march taking place there. It hurts they didn't grant a permit. Locals are going to be mad at riders because of traffic snarls. Not sure how they would separate regular/local folks from riders but we will see what happens. Anyways, I hope all is well with you Betty, best regards, 73

Betty, no military, folks just raised me right. I get angry when guys are disrespectful to women, even if I don't agree with her, always gotta be polite and respectful. People laugh at me because I am so old fashioned, but I don't care.

It's still a go. What they were denied was to be able to ride through nonstop. So, it's just going to take longer...snarling traffic at every stop sign and red light...
