The Syrian government poses absolutely no threat to the United States. In fact, the civil war that now rages within it's borders has been completely fabricated by the American government. The insurgency has been funded, armed, trained and ultimately directed by the U.S. intelligence community. Without U.S. subversion, the civil war in Syria would not exist.

The sad part is, Americans have spent the better part of a century being told who our enemies are with very little explanation substantiation. We have blindly rallied around our patriotic prerogative without knowing the root cause of the conflict or the nature of the target we are told to annihilate. We have been suckered into war after war, being lured into accepting these wars as a necessity.

This Syrian lie is nothing more than a continuation of the lies that have already been fed to us through the years, and I believe it is time we stopped believing a lying government whose total interests lie in nothing more than global power.

Mot likely he is , so too the war mongers in Washington . Lateral Thinking is rare if not non-existent in partisan politics . It is more likely to be found among free thinkers , Independents and Centrists.
In the meantime , rather than consider the Greater Good of the United States , Democrats and Republicans [teabags included ] are more interested in getting a leg up on each other .
And the "media " on either side , yes they are partisan also , just want to see a war so the results good or bad , can be blamed on the other or credit taken by one or the other , they will have the dolts switching to their channels and running up the advertising bucks .

This country has enemies in both, and in many other places around the world. The real question remains: what do we do about it? Interfering with the domestic problems in a country that h**es us anyway, doesn't make any sense, at least none that would justify any of our boys dying, just to make a "political statement". Going into Syria with troops would be just that: a political statement. If obummer were one of the ones actually going there to "throw bullets", there would not be any question that the U.S. should stay out of it.

You make it sound like it's all Obama , and you know that's not true .This Syrian thing has been going on for two years , and there have been calls from BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE , including some of the Tea Party , to do something . And I'm sure there are Cabinet Members in the Military , where Generals are looking to get their next star .
The focus should be on how to keep the US out of Syria , PERIOD . There will always be the diplomatic and political practice of saving face , so get used to it , it goes on under every President , and that is because NO PRESIDENT scores perfect, in any arena .

If you reconsider, you might find that he has scored BIG on brainwashing the already brainwashed liberals and mainstream media that he so badly depends on to keep him afloat. If it wasn't for these Do-Do's, he would not have staggered through his first presidency without being impeached. But not to be disillusioned. His impending impeachment v**e is gathering speed every day. He and his stupid hangers-on just don't realize it.
