Too late and costly. Where is the President when innocent masses were being shot and beaten and to death. But chemical weapons was considered to be unfair.
It is good that Obama to ask Congress to authorize Syria strike. If something goes wrong, the President can blame Congress and better yet, the Republicans.

Too late and will be too little. Not even sure if he can get democrats onboard as this is still over a week before they even v**e. He's not calling them back for a v**e hoping this will all go away.

Now that Pres. Obama has made his decision, the Congress has another week to put together a strategy to rebuff the Presidents decision.

bmac32....It is time the Congress got a wake up call. The nation is now anxious to see the decision coming out of Congress...will it resonate with the Pres. decision to go in or will they hold true as they have shown in the past.....to go against him. This is going to prove to be a very slow week for us.

Why in hell is he waiting to recall Congress? Oh I think I know, he has a meeting with Russia this week and he and ole Put don't see eye to eye. Oh to be a fly in that room!
