I'm a newcomer to One Political Plaza. As I was reading the linked article, I went from amusement (thinking it was a spoof) to shock when I realized that it was real, an actual nomination of WikiLeaker Manning for the Nobel Peace Prize.

I thought it was a h**x at first due to the names of the organizations from which this nomination comes: "Pirates of the EU", the "Swedish Pirate Party", and "Secretary of State in Tunisia for Sport & Youth". But no, I looked them up, they're real. They've appropriated the word Pirate to specify groups opposing anti-pirating laws, that is, anyone who believes in free distribution of all information with no regard to intellectual property rights. As such, Manning would of course be a hero to them.

I'm not much for obscenity, but I'll take my response from General Patton: "Fuck you". They should understand that, it isn't Greek. If they want Greek, I'll rephrase it. "You coprophagous cretins should perform an act (highly improbable, yet often suggested) in which you succeed in phallic distortion and insertion into your own proktos." Good luck with that.
