White man threatens to kill police, knocks one out, sends two to the hospital, injures 7 officers

This is the definition of white privilege.

"The defendant rolled down the window and said 'I know why you stopped me.' The defendant then made reference to the events in Ferguson, Missouri," according to the criminal complaint.
Joseph Parker, 34, in a wild rant, threatened to kill police, then pounced, police said. He punched 57-year-old Lt. Jeremian Goodwin, knocking him out.

From the overnight scene to lockup, Parker allegedly injured seven officers. The police chief says the man battled, nearly breaking the metal detector.
In the meantime, be black and:
Sell cigarettes, get killed
Play at a park, get killed
Shop at Wal-Mart, get killed
Walk with friends, get killed
Go down the stairs, get killed
Come home from work, get killed

In all of those cases, in hundreds more like them, unarmed African Americans who posed no physical threat to police, were all killed by law enforcement.

Yet this man, Joseph Parker, injured seven police officers and sent two to the hospital?

This, ladies and gentlemen, is your America.

I am 73 years old and can honestly say that I have never seen a case where an un-armed white man was killed by police. In my youth I got my ass kicked quite a lot by the police and never felt any fear of being shot. In todays world if I were black I would not feel safe going to the store.

You are right, there is a great fear of Blacks even when they have no weapons.

Mentally ill whites are killed. And there have been a few cases of young white males being killed...the LEOs are branching out.

In one case in particular, the mentally-ill white man was using pepper spray, a pellet gun, a bottle of propane, and a hatchet to attack others and police officers, inside a dark theater. He also refused to obey the commands of the police to stop his actions. He tried to escape the police and threw a propane tank at the police, resulting in his being shot.

At the time, the police had no knowledge as to the mental state of the man. All they knew was that he was armed, dangerous and was/had attacking/attacked others in a dark movie theater.

At what point does it fall on the man who was committing attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon(s), failure to obey a police officer, just to name a few crimes he committed, to take responsibility for his actions?

Sorry jelun, while I can appreciate your feelings on the subject, but I can't accept your blanket generalization of the police going around shooting mentally-ill white men.
