Agree.I would rather see tobacco farmers growing hemp, especially those who cannot function without government subsidies.

Industrial hemp is generally defined as having a concentration of delta9 THC smaller than 0.3% by dry weight. Non psychoactive. It is a different product than pot, which explains why you don't generally see people smoking rope.

The anti-hemp laws are used as a basis for the prohibition of cultivation of hemps cousin -pot .This legislation has been around a long time in order to promote other crops .

Since 1937. The US is the only country in which cultivation of industrial hemp is still illegal, although not in the entire country.

It's amazing ain't it ? Especially when you think of the products that are made from hemp . The roots of this prohibition have been long past due their revocation ,the are ridiculous .
