Political Correctness: The Only Thing Liberals Won’t Tolerate is the T***h

IT'S POLITICAL STUPIDITY AND THAT IS WHAT'S DRIVING OUR NATION FROM THE WHITE HOUSE ON DOWN!!!

Political correctness may be political but it is hardly correct. In fact, political correctness is a concept promulgated by liberals to suppress the t***h. A question that should be asked when liberals demand political correctness is this: “Who decides what is correct?” The answer to this question, of course, is “liberals decide.” An obvious follow-up question then is: “Who gave liberals the authority to decide what is correct?” The reason this question is so important is that the entity with the authority to decide what is correct is the entity who decides what is true. There is nothing more fundamental to the morality of a society than who decides what is true.

Liberals claim that political correctness is the practical application of tolerance and liberals are certainly tolerant. For example, they tolerate mass murder but in the name of political correctness label it “choice;” a subterfuge that is certainly political but hardly correct. This example makes an important point: political correctness is not about tolerance—it is about suppressing the t***h. An objective observer—if such a thing really exists—might reasonably ask: “Why do liberals find it necessary or, at least, advantageous to suppress the t***h?” Good question. Liberals find it necessary to suppress the t***h because the t***h would undermine their morally-relativistic lifestyles. Liberals want to do what liberals want to do, not because doing so is right but because it is what they want to do. This is not a lifestyle that willingly admits to inconvenient t***hs.

There was a time when the majority of Americans looked to the God of Holy Scripture for determining the t***h. But those times are gone. Thanks to the persistent efforts of determined liberals and the pitifully weak responses of Christians, the God of Holy Scripture has been supplanted by a new god—one more tolerant of liberal foolishness: the god of moral relativism. But moral relativism is really no god at all—it is an idol. And like all idols, it is a false entity. Idols are false gods made up by man, something the ancient Greeks and Romans found out the hard way.

Whereas the God of Holy Scripture prescribes definite rights and wrongs going so far as to say “thou shall” and “thou shall not”, the idol of moral relativism admits to no definite rights or wrongs. Instead, right and wrong are relative concepts to be decided by the individual. This is why it is necessary for liberals to advocate for tolerance: so much of what they believe and do requires broad moral latitude and infinite tolerance. In fact there seems to be nothing under the sun a liberal won’t tolerate except the t***h.

To be intolerant in contemporary American society is anathema. There are few things thought to be worse than a supposed intolerant person. People who are labeled intolerant are shunned by polite society and viewed with suspicion by their peers. As a result Americans are now willing to tolerate almost anything to avoid being labeled intolerant by leftwing cultural elitists. But there is a problem with all of this tolerance: we are tolerating behaviors that are destructive to the individuals who practice them and to society in general. In many cases, we are tolerating the intolerable. Said another way, we are tolerating ourselves to death.

You don’t have to look far to find behaviors and practices that are destructive, coarsening in their effects on society, and antithetical to what is good and decent about America, but are—nevertheless—tolerated by a majority of Americans. Consider just a few of these: a******n, elimination of the God of Holy Scripture from the public square, blatant, in-your-face sex and gratuitous violence on television and in the movies, cutting benefits to military veterans but paying benefits to i*****l a***ns, the celebration of adulterous relationships in Hollywood productions, condoning of c***ting, looking the other way when it is apparent that someone is lying, and the sin of coveting being used as a political strategy by Democrats to foment class envy. All of these practices and more are now commonplace in America. Why? Because too few Americans are willing to stand up and say, “This is wrong and I am not going to tolerate it.”

Consider just one example. It is politically incorrect in contemporary America to question the practice of a******n much less argue against it. Those who do so are said to be conducting a “war on women.” Of course, those who charge that being anti-a******n is synonymous with making war on women conveniently overlook an obvious question: “What about the war a******n supporters are making on unborn babies.” It is questions such as this that force liberals to adopt the convenient and forgiving-of-anything philosophy of moral relativism rather than deal with hard t***hs that might require a change in their lifestyles. A society that tolerates anything but the t***h will eventually get what it deserves. Look around you. I think this is already happening.

IT'S POLITICAL STUPIDITY AND THAT IS WHAT'S DRIVIN... (show quote)

You know, I keep reading here that liberals say this or preach that - and I can't find these speeches anywhere. As far as I can see, it's the conservatives who know what liberals think, because THEY aren't saying very much. Is it a "fill in the blanks" project?

I'm familiar with the official liberal ideology, but I see very few examples of it being spouted anywhere. There are the usual nut cases spouting THEIR ideology, but little of it is consistent with either liberal OR conservative ideology. I suppose it's easier to just assume that if it isn't exactly like one's OWN ideology, it must be liberal, unless of course, it's coming from a fellow conservative, then it gets decidedly confusing - but that very thing happens all the time. Here's and example; The EPA is NOT a liberal or Democratic construct - in fact - the agency was formed by Richard Nixon. Go figure.

Most peoples Idea of Exactly what PC is, is a little foggy. Please use this, as this clears that up

The Progressives would have you believe that Political Correctness is a noble effort to foment fairness & e******y. --- Here is the reality: Political Correctness is Suppression of the T***h for the Purpose of Advancing the Left Wing Agenda. P.C. Is, a retreat from reason, clear thinking and plain speaking. P.C. Is, in fact, a war on t***h disguised as being polite, considerate and not being offensive. Political Correctness is a form of mind control, meant to tell you how and what to think by controlling and limiting free speech. It intends to reeducate our children and undermine public opinion. It is cultural Marxism, the purpose of which is to weaken the defenses of a free democracy. It is a well known and well documented C*******t subversion tactic and procedure, and this tactic is designed to induce a state of surprise and shock thereby putting the opposition on the defensive. By impugning the conservatives motivation, they hope to avoid debate and to shut up the opposition. Political correctness is intimidation and it is meant to be a straitjacket for the conservative mind. It is censorship, pure and simple. Beyond that it is designed to make the liberal to narcissistically feel superior -- better, finer, more caring and noble about himself, and therefore to arrogantly feel that he is enlightened. At the same time, Political Correctness instills hatred, in the liberal, for the conservatives and their moral and ethical conservative values. It is Intended to make a l*****t revolution seem desirable.

The t***h must come 1st, last and always. Stand for t***h. Don't let them get away with it ! Call it what it is --- Trickery -- A Tactic in the Dismantling of Traditional America and Suppression of the T***h for the Purpose of Advancing the Left Wing Agenda.

-This tells you a lot about the integrity or lack thereof of the left. What scumbagery to institutionalize deceit like this. What will be the character of a "L*****t Utopia" born out of deceit ? ?? ???

Liberalism has to muzzle the t***h because it operates on lies. It is built on lies, fueled by lies, and creates an empire of lies.

Just my opinion, I do not want to be governed by either the conservative ideology or the liberal. I want the freedom to choose for myself in each situation.

It seems to me both sides want to impose their beliefs upon the rest of us. Why not simply allow each American the freedom of choice? When it comes to religion we should all choose our faith. No one has the right to decide for us all. Least we get another inquisition or rule by Islamic law. Religious law is just that. If I do not accept your religion, why should I accept your rules? I do not feel I have the right to impose the teachings of my God on the rest of the country. ie: a******n, I think it is wrong so I won't have one. Gay lifestyle, I think it is wrong so I do not participate or associate with people who do. I do not have the right to choose for you.

The EPA is necessary. It would be ridiculous to allow polluters to police themselves. They have done such a great job in the past. The Gulf is still a mess and BP lies and side steps the clean up. In a perfect world these corporations would have the common sense to realize we have one planet. We do not live in a perfect world. We live in a world where only the bottom line matters.

I think both the Left and the Right have their lunatic fringe. We just seem to give the more outrageous people publicity. I do not believe any one person can speak for either group. Both sides are comprised of individuals. When I read a statement beginning with: all conservatives or all liberals my first thought is no that is your opinion. I do not believe either side is evil or does not love their country. They just see the answers to the problems from different perspectives.

Because I am an Independent, I can see some good ideas coming from both sides.

Apparently, we've entered the age of childishness, you know, the age where everything is "no!" and "mine, mine mine!". Both sides seem to feel that they're giving up everything, if they give a little, so they stomp their feet and throw a tantrum if they don't get everything their own way.

Then add in the childish "blame game", " no I didn't, THEY did it" and "it's not my fault", etc. So it's no wonder that nothing gets done. It's also no wonder that the vast majority of Americans have simply tuned out of the whole political kindergarten class. All the ads, all the sound bytes, all the rhetoric - is only aimed at a very few people - who have ALREADY made up their minds, making a mockery of the democratic way of doing business in this country.

I wouldn't be the least surprised to find that many folk reject the democratic process, simply because it has the word "democrat" in it. How crazy is that? In any case, neither side can claim the moral high ground, no matter what they say, as both sides lie, make stuff up, refuse to take responsibility for anything, talk nasty about each other, do things for personal gain and spend more time fundraising, campaigning and politicking - than they do the jobs they were hired for.

I dependents are the only one's trying to d**g some insanity, out of the insanity that's American politics. I think it would be beneficial if both sides looked at some foreign news services reports about American politics, to see how silly they look to the rest of the world.
