STEP OVER REASON
NAHUM 1:7 (KJV)
"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble: and He knoweth them that trust in Him."
When everything seems to be caving in around you, and you feel you have nowhere to go, then it is time to stop spinning your wheels, you will only dig deeper ruts and still not have the answers. Sit down, take a deep breath and turn it all over to God. Sounds too simple, right! Well, tell me, have you ever tried it? Have you ever said, "Lord, I'm at wits end, I can't go any farther, help me! Then, just keep doing what you have to do as though you have the answer. When your thoughts go to fear, brush them aside and keep saying, "Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. My faith may be weak, I need Your strength to boost it, help me."
Remember the father who brought his child to Jesus to ask He heal him? Jesus asks him, "IF YOU CAN BELIEVE, all things are possible to him who believes." The father replies, "Lord, I believe, HELP MY UNBELIEF." Unbelief, that is where most of us become mired in doubts. We give it to Jesus and then keep taking it back as though we alone have the ability to bring about the answers. This is the point where you learn to step over the line of reason, and let go of your problem and just keep THANKING THE LORD FOR HIS ANSWER. It will come!

I find it easier to thank the Lord for the answers He gives me, when I have also thanked God for all those things that are part of our daily life. Sometimes in that thank you comes the answer I needed to hear. If not the patience to wait for the right time GOD'S RIGHT TIME often comes to me.

Amen. I thank Him all the time. Usually out loud. I'm missing my Wed. night Bible Study. I guess God wasn't going to let me off easy. He sent you and Beark and bahmer. Thanks.

Then we will all pray together and sing our praises to the Lord. Celebrating His love together gives us all the strength of ten.

Amen. We are blessed to have fellowship.

The implied end to that verse is "...and they who trust know him." I see a reference to the NT where Jesus is saying, "You will say, 'Lord, Lord,' but I will not know you." Trust in him is all the knowledge we need of God, and all he needs of us.
