You're confused. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob didn't establish ancient Rome nor modern Iran. And your babbling about love likewise makes no sense. God deliberately confused the language of the workmen building the tower of ancient Babylon because they erroneously thought that, through their own power, they could build a tower to the heavens and save themselves from another flood.
Babel is the noise a baby makes when first discovering his voice. More precisely the baby will 'babel-on'. And as used in God's Word, Babylon today means confusion. If the shoe fits...

1st, you've spelled the word 2 different ways. The word is spelled, "babbel" (with 2 "b's"). 2nd, as is stated in many dictionaries, the etymology of the English word "babbel" is derived from the Babel from the Tower of Babylon. But, why then, do other languages not refer to it in a similar fashion? The French word for "babbel," is "charlabia." Their word for a baby's babbel/gibberish doesn't look like "babel" in anyway shape or form.
In Spanish, the word is, "galimatías." Again, there is no reference or inference to Babylon. Plus, the etymologies of the French and Spanish words make no reference to Babylon, either. Only the English word does.
You should know, that by castigating and trying to make fun of flatlux over the etymology of various words, instead of actually trying to prove your point, only shows the weakness of your arguments.
And, would God, in His infinite knowledge of ALL things, past, present and future, not have caused the formation of these empires in His plan for His people? While we have our "free will," He already knows our choices. As such, had/has He not already prepared His reaction(s) to Israel's action(s)? As God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, He is fully aware of what we're going to do, even before we, ourselves, do.
While we argue, fuss and fight over politics and religion, He already knows what we're going to do and what He's going to do with us from now and on into eternity; even though we have no clue to what we're going to do tomorrow; let alone next week, or next month, or next year, or pick any measurement of time.
To me, I find that truly awesome and very intimidating. My only hope is that His grace will carry me on through the rest of my days.
