Are we in the last days?

Hasnt every generation thought that they were living in the last days?
The older I get the more I realize that Bible prophecy does not mean what I have heard before that it means.
When I was growing up the prophecy about the budding fig tree was supposed to mean the establishment of the modern state of Israel. But we are a generations time past that event in 1948 measuring a generation as 40 years and nearly past that event measuring a generation as three score and ten year, but the antichrist has yet to arise. We are also a generations time (40 years) passed the Israeli capture of the entire city of Jerusalem. So clearly the fig tree does not mean the establishment of modern Israel.
I am also convinced now that the antichrist will not be an individual person as most Christians believe. The antichrist may be something like the United Nations, but more and more I am thinking it will be some multi-national corporation of some sort. Most multi-national corporations today are more powerful than most governments are.

How about knowledge being increase, people traveling to and fro, in last days, Jews from around the world coming home, from north, south and from four corners. They will try to divide Israel up by nations, and nations would bud and so on. About 40 nations have come out recent years, that were only colonies of other nations until recently

WE have been in the "Last Days" every since Jesus asended back unto the Father. I know you know this Jetson & u TOTALLY said nothing about "hating anyone." :) If any body would dare look at the Christian Faith Bible, and allow themselves to be t***hful, they would have to admit w/n their own hearts, maybe not on this forum that the perilous times written in 2Timothy 3:1-7 IS manifesting right before our eyes everyday. :thumbup:

From what I see going on in this country and all over the world yes.People are, as a whole, not interested in any thing except going from day to day. Our country is falling apart a little each day. If you watch the middle east, if you listen to what is being said, how God is being denied in organiztions,more and more places are taking down anything written about God.On and On. The weather

You could be right, I sometimes wonder if it is some how connected to a person running the united nations. In my older age, I watch the news on t.v. and read on computer. I do wonder. People have closed their ears and covered their eyes

I guess you must listen to Rush every day to hear all the vitriol that you say he puts out ,however you must listen to a different Rush than I do because the one I listen to never speaks unt***hful words

I heard 2 hours of Rush yesterday which only happens when I am going to some kind of medical appointment and found myself wondering where his h**eful words were. I guess those of us who listen to him and those who get what he says from MM, Stink Prog or Kos really don't hear the same man talk.

Joshua was 110 years old when he died, but if you give any credence to Velikovsky, it would be impossible to know Joshuas actual age since the earths orbit and thus its calendar had been disrupted during Joshuas lifetime.

Globalism is the first step, the Bush's, the Clinton's & now obama all took & taking steps through misc avenues to unite all countries. This new pope is in negotiations with islamic leaders to try to fin d "common ground". Same with protestant tv preachers like Rick Warren, all attempting to be open minded. Revelations speaks of the churches Christ warned that our Almighty Father GOD will spew from his mouth. TheTheNarrow is the gate to righteousness & many will not find it.
