Hi folks. Say I thought you may enjoy these sites. I know the internet and all of its complexities are some what hard to keep up with. And a lot of us older folks are not up to all the slang words that are used. I came across the information below in my e-mail the other day. and to tell you the t***h I am amazed at the amount of terms I did not even know. This information was not put together by me.
All you need do is open any browser, type in any of the boxed terms in there search engine, and bingo, away you go. RETW

Updated 12. August 2013 - 12:24 by v.laurie
The technology world and the Internet are full of jargon, buzzwords, slang, and acronyms. Often, its like trying to read a foreign language. Its a rare person who can keep up with it all and here is some help. I have put together a list of places where you can find a quick and concise explanation of the meaning of those strange new technical and Internet terms that you run across. Consult these five sites and be mystified no longer. (The links are in no particular order.)
[Computer Desktop Encyclopedia]
Pretty comprehensive. Was quite up to date on a few terms I tried.
[Netlingo]
25000+ text and chat acronyms plus large assortment of technology terms
[Acronym Finder]
Very large general-purpose acronym site with many categories but includes numerous technology and Internet acronyms
[Internet Slang]
Slang terms, acronyms and abbreviations as used in websites, on Twitter, ICQ chat rooms, blogs, SMS, and Internet forums.
[Webopedia]
Long-standing and comprehensive site but entries are sometimes dated. Was a Website of the Week choice. It is frequently cited.
Of course, theres always [Wikipedia] if you want more technical details.
