I am sure that no leaners here would agree with my title but then there are many others who certainly do. The damage this law can do to our people is so obvious and so really bad. I guess few lefties have seen a war on women that this law has even though the leaners want the Republicans to be the bad guys.

Why and to whom? To me, race has as little meaning to me (and the majority of Americans) as a person's religion. I look at a person's head and heart. If those are pure (at least as pure as any of us are), then I will listen and consider what they have to say.

This argument, and the remarks by the congressman completely miss the point. It doesn't matter who gets covered, how they are covered or what they are covered for. The issue is the cost of healthcare. The costs of healthcare are going to bankrupt this country regardless of who pays (you, your employer, the government). And until these costs are brought under control, everyone loses. And the best way to control it is with the person with the most impact and influence. And that would be the government. If the healthcare industry gets paid by a single payer, they either accept it...or do something else. Not complicated.

There is no evidence that the government can reduce costs of anything. Just visit your local Social Security office and see how productive those workers are. Government always adds costs.

Absolutely correct. Provider costs drive this whole argument. And until they are brought under control, we all head toward bankruptcy. Stay healthy!

Um, no. That's not correct. There's a reason why doctors refuse medicare patients. It's because they won't take the lower rates for reimbursement. This simply proves single payer works. You either play by the rules of the "payer", or go flip burgers at Wendy's.

You always lose doctors. I just lost my dermatologist because she wouldn't take my private insurance anymore. I lost my primary care doctor of 20 years because I moved and he wouldn't take my insurance anymore. The issue is money. That drives it. Period.
