Is anyone seeing signs of a cold winter coming for your part of the country? Here where I am in Florida things arent looking good.
1. My pomegranate and fig bush both have fruit on them at lest 2 months earlier than they ever have had fruit before.
2. My walnut tree and the bald cypress trees around town turned in July when September is the usual month for it.
3. Every day in July had temperatures that were either normal or significantly below normal. The humidity was lower than normal too by a good bit- meaning the air can cool faster. The first part of August has had the usual humidity for this time of year, but the temperatures have been at or below normal.
4. I saw a flock of geese flying south during the week after July 4. I have never seen geese before any earlier than October. They werent very high, but they were fast and they werent headed from or towards the river which is where the normally stop to feed. I heard a flock of geese a few days later. Then during the 2nd week in August I saw several other flocks (at least 50 birds all total) fly over within a 5 minute time period. I then heard yet another flock the same day.

Where Im at December-February were warm and muggy. But it turned cold in March and was much colder than normal for the month. I lost my potatoes to the cold and I worried constantly about my nectarine tree because it had fruit on in February. And it stayed cool into April enough that I had to postpone planting my green beans.
Sounds like winter is coming. I bet it's George Bushes fault.

There may be more to what you say than many want to believe. Speaking of winter, did you see the AP apology for their pictures and story about what is going on at the North Pole. Everybody needs to see that one to understand that the Goreacle has been hurt badly.
