The minimum wage was never meant to be a living wage. It was an "entry-level" wage into the work force to encourage people to get an education and strive to learn sk**ls in order to get a job that paid a living wage.

Sending Sanford to Congress would only be a victory in the sense that Democrats and liberals have done it for years! As usual, the liberals in this country enjoy a "double standard" in almost everything they do.

As you know, (but won't admit it), it's not just conservatives that take advantage of people for profit. I'm pretty sure that there are as many liberals that got rich off the backs of the "poor", ie. Clintons, Kennedy's, Pelosi's, etc.

You "bleeding heart" liberals cry and whine about "fairness" and "e******y" but it always seems to involve "spending someone else's money" to supposedly achieve. I know it makes you feel good to say you're for "helping the poor", but you get to "feel good" using other people's resources to do it. Take off the "rose colored glasses" sometime and check out how the "real world" works. Not only did this country "get along OK" before you liberals started your "political correctness" crap, but it became the greatest nation on earth. Now, it is in danger of becoming just another socialist, liberal, country that will probably end up like England or Greece. All thanks to people like you who get elected to the farce we now call "government". You're like all the rest of the libs on this forum, you all think you are smarter and better than everyone else. The more "educated" you are, the more you feel you know about everything. Well, considering that the libs have "hi-jacked the educational system in this country, I understand why college students are liberal. The thing is, if you are older than 50, you should remember what it was like to have the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. Again, I forgot, people like you think the Constitution is a "living, breathing, document" that can be changed anytime it does not agree with the liberal agenda. It can be "interpreted" by liberal "activist" judges to mean something other than what it actually says. The fact that obummer has been working to divide this country into b****s vs. w****s, rich vs. poor is no secret anymore. It's unfortunate that most "libs" have bought into the game he is playing. There are mercenary politicians on both side of the isle, that's true, but 99% of the whining and crying takes place on the lib side. I've accused the Republicans of being cowardly, (not including the RINOs), but it probably just the fact that they're not whining and crying as much as the Democrats. You liberals preach, "fairness and e******y" like it's supposed to be "handed out" like food stamps, how about working hard to earn it??!!
