I think you could now replace the Italian Mafia with the Russian Mafia. While the Mob (Italian Mafia) was nationwide the Russians control the Long Island and environs with their tentacles reaching even further into the fabric of the underworld. They, the Russians, aren't as well publicized as was "The Mob" but they certainly do not take a backseat in their criminal activity. They are more difficult to infiltrate than was The Mob. There were many 1st and 2nd generation Italians the FBI utilized in combating The Mob. (Think Rudy Giuliano). We don't have that luxury among the Russian Population, hence their criminal activities are lesser known. But make no mistake, they are here and very powerful within their own domains.

I will tell you the same thing that is told to every new user on this site and that is to use the "quote reply" tag at the bottom of the quote the you are responding to and that way the readers all know to whom you are responding. It truly would have been a different society today if Martin Luther King not been executed. I often wonder if the black caucus and the black leaders may not have had their dirty hand in his demise. I know that it probably affect their income in a negative way had he lived and his message been followed. A new Martin Luther King is what is needed for the black community so that they can get their mind off of this illegal half black president and get it back to building their community and building relationships.

I LOVE my race of people, which IS black but with how SOME of us feel about this president & democrats overall, I MUST go A Wall & disagree verbally. I COULD NOT V**E for the man b/c of a deep inner feeling about the MASSIVE CROWD he was able to draw. It was like nothing I had ever seen & outside of him being part black , for ME, it just DID NOT FEEL correct. Other ethnic groups, some W****S included, v**ed for obama for one of three reasons, he is a demo/yet MANY other things, he is part black & easy on the eyes. The concern of his policies & his pass, lack of experience was PROTECTED then and NOW. I LISTENED to my gut! From what I know from history Martin Luther King Jr. was a respectful man who wanted E******Y for ALL people during the Civil Rights Movement. My race during that time, being segregated unfairly yes BUT Mr. King KNEW, w/ ALL the people he was able to draw, HE was JUST A MAN and DID NOT try to set HIMSELF UP to be a god! This president is pompous & think he is ABOVE the law! He is NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE to ANYBODY! As a result THIS is what you get: A country looked upon as A JOKE where we USE TO BE respected. Rangel agitates his constituency into a fervor whenever he feels necessity to do so. He's addressing what are mostly "low information"v**ers. He needs these people, and he can't be honest enough to remind them of the affects they've endured under the Obama Regime. We know for a fact, that the black community has given its all for Obama and the Democrat Party, only to suffer the highest unemployment rate and increased poverty of all major minorities in the United States. Welfare can't really compensate them for the ineptitude of Obama & Co, because sooner or later Socialism runs out of other people's money.

You will notice that college campuses are where the Democrat politicians frequent often. They know where their pigeons are! At the age of most college students, they naturally gravitate to change, even if it's only for the sake of change. Then, when that change reveals itself as detrimental to most gainfully employed, responsible, family folks, the collegians hang on to the "changers" because they cannot come to terms with themselves that what they started to fervently believe in had placed an entire nation in jeopardy as a result. No, no, it couldn't have been them who aided and abetted the "snake-oil salesman," it had to be others. It couldn't have been them, after all with all their life experience and attending an institution of "learning," it had to be mistakes on the parts of others.
You don't see these Democrats being booed off of campuses, those students believe they, collectively, are superior judges of events. WTH are non-college types to tell them they were suckers for a good line of pie-in-the-sky?

I will say this: If America doesn't boycott an MSM that so distorts news/commentary, to a degree that one has to go overseas on the 'Net just to compare reporting, then we deserve the media who screws us.
If any other business did to this country what this media has gotten away with, that business would have been put out of business, for lack of consumers, long ago.
At one time, the news media was considered the Fourth Estate. It could be counted upon, not to campaign for and embellish the images of politicians, but to be honest, above all, about everyone in the public eye. We have a long way to go to return to those days when the media held an almost sacred position in American life.
The only pressures it's susceptible to is lack of circulation and audiences. This one's up to everyone to straighten them out. What happens against Republicans, can happen against Democrats too. The ball takes odd bounces, therefore we're all in the same boat as regards the needs, not for TV celebrities, but an honest and true media.

Uncle Tom is a slap on the wrist for what some of my own race of people calls me & why? NO WORRIES Oldroy! My feelings are not bothered at all! I am a DEDICATED follower of Christ. I have to stay STRONG and of GOOD COURAGE. I KNOW it isn't POPULAR to admit that in todays world BUT I STILL consider it an HONOR & PREVILAGE to confess the T***H. To me, Christianity isn't just another RELIGION, it is about having a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ with the LIFESTYLE to back it up. Did you check my link? I ask because I was sure you would reply something about what it says about Christianity in the public schools as compared to Muslim. It really makes me unhappy to see what the World History text has become. I taught World History for over 25 years and was always excited to get to the unit about the "great religions" of the world. I failed to see anything in the texts of the 60s through the 80s with more about any of the religions. In this case there were 36 pages about Muslims and 0 about Christianity. I knew it was coming but not that the book had been in use the past 3 years. Think what the schools will be putting out with all that revisionism from progs.

Unfortunately this is the one thing missing in today's world and that is a lack of faith in Jesus Christ in all races whether you are black, white, Hispanic, Asian or Indian we used to have preachers that not only preached the word but they also preach either for or against the men and or women running for office and what they believed or not believed in light of the bible. The politicians didn't like it when the preachers put there lifestyle or beliefs up in front of their church and told the church about how God felt about the politicians beliefs and actions. The politicians didn't like the light of God to be shown them at all. I think if the pastors had been doing their jobs instead of preaching feel good messages they preached gods word on every candidate this country wouldn't have elected OIllegal. One of the main falls of Germany was the churches and the pastors who were all complacent to Hitler.

So very few people are willing to say anything about God and His Church. It is too easy to get atheists and other progs after them so they run and hide. I feel sorry for those who are willing to sit back and watch what is happening.

If more parents would look in their kids text books and find that they are now pushing Islam and saying nearly nothing about Christianity in so many instances. The progs have revised our history and are teaching it from those revised books. Are kids supposed to come out of high school educated or just made into low information v**ers?

That's true sir. So MANY Christians have been silence due to fear of not being politically correct. However, when the PRESENCE of Christ REALLY has a hold of your being, u come to terms of what is PRICELESS in this world. It is far BETTER for me to fear Almighty God rather than society. In His eyes when I am politically correct, more times than not, I am SPIRITUALLY,(according 2 the standards of Christ), wrong. As I, as a firm Believer in Christ, teach these values to my kids, NO MAN can take it from us. They may can take the bible from our HANDS but they can NEVER take WHO CHRIST IS to us from our HEARTS & our MINDS.
