Hey Bill learn how to spell Hiroshima .
And by all means please , give us a date and reason for the upcoming Downfall of the US .

I'm curious to see just how much of a fool you can make out of yourself .

You've done a pretty good job of that so far , but I suspect you got more "talent " you haven't yet brought to the fore .

Can't wait to here more of your ignorant foul mouthed diatribes .

So let's hear them .....PERDICTIONS 8-)

Heck Lou! U got the message and you knew the word. U made my point. As you pass gas today I hope your pants don't get soiled. If all you can do is defecate on my spelling you definitely have a pea brain. Like all good little Democrats you try to circumvent the issues with side bars. Robot, robot, robot.

Hey Lou, why don't you go back to the merchant marines. And, when your ship gets out to 50 miles, jump. Isn't that when its legal to throw trash overboard?

Poor Lou, he had to join the merchant marines; the real Marines were too good for him. He's a reject!

Ohmigod, Lou the US Army really broke that rule about dumping trash. I wondered about that but when aboard a troop ship coming back to the states I bugged out from a detail I was called to take part in and was so proud of myself. Four of us were told to report to an office to throw some things overboard. Once that had happened they started looking for the service records of the poor souls who had allowed theirs to be hauled back by the officials. I had hand carried mine aboard and just kept them and I got out of the Army about 6 months before those poor guys who weren't so lucky. You and the authorities may not consider those records to be garbage but those guys who had to wait for the Army to run down everything didn't think like that.

Lou, you are the best attacker of the messenger we have around here which makes me wonder if you may not be one of the best Alinskyites here.

You don't know the half of it roy . Do you know the term "butterworthing " . It's name is derived from a spinning high pressured water nozzle that is lowered gradually into the empty holds of oil tankers butterworth machine invented by Butterworth. It's used to clean the cargo holds of Tankers when changing cargos . I would ride a tanker filled with grain from the Midwest over to India or the USSR , after unloading we'd clean the holds and pick up crude in the Persian gulf , from there to Texas . Once unloaded there would be a reside of crude and grain at the bottom of those tanks .This was called MUCK . Removing it was called MUCKING . Keep in mind the average Tanker had 15 holds -#1 -5 and each hold with Port /Starboard wing tanks and a Center tank .Cleaning those involved 2-5 days of butterworthing to wash everything to the bottom then , going down into the holds and shoveling the stuff up and raising it up in large buckets. The enormity of those tanks is hard for anyone to imagine whose never actually been in one . This task was repeated every time cargo was changed grain to oil and back to grain / oil to JP-4 [jet fuel] etc .Multiply that by all the world's tankers ,[ That is those that changed cargoes] .It is not profitable for a ship to depart or return from long voyages. EMPTY . All that stuff was discharged into the worlds Oceans . That's the way it was atleast up until my last voyage in the 70's . Hopefully there has been a better way sometime since then . This is not even taking into consideration the multiple million tons of shipping sunk in WW 2. Many of which were Oil Tankers .Nor disasters like the Exxon Valdez. There were several others worse than the Valdez .

BTW Roy I don't shoot the messengers , just the message unless it's a lie I shoot both . As far as any demeaning statements I have made , I answer them in the spirit they have been delivered .

QUID PRO QUO as crazy horse has thoroughly repeated and WORN OUT .

I've done my share of mucking the tanks, as I was on an oiler. Usually, we would just strip the tanks, which meant pumping everything from the bottom of a full tank right out the side of the ship. If that didn't work, we'd have to get right down in it with buckets. Tough job, but somebody had to do it.

Is there a chance that Lou would like to attack this message or will he attack the messenger. I know, but I am not sure he does.

Who did win the war, the US or Japan. Look at these pictures of a totally destroyed city and what it has become and then look at what was the real example of American growth and what has become of it. Of course, Lou, those are just cherry picked pictures you will see.

One other point (well maybe off point a bit -- but) How many times have you heard from the anti-nuclear group, that if there was a nuclear accident the land would be uninhabitable for thousands of years?

How long since we went Nuclear on Japan?

Think about it.

Now; the resurgence of the Bubonic plague? That is something to worry about. It might be coming our way right now! Yes, the sky is falling. I promise. I really do promise. So stay away from fleas or little rodents carrying the Yersinia pestis.

There is one good thing. Since NY is infested with rats you can bet they would suffer more proportionally than the rural areas.

A second good thing would be the economy. In the 14th century it k**led an estimated 25 million people, or 30–60% of the European population. Because the plague k**led so many of the working population, wages rose and some historians have seen this as a turning point in European economic development. Hell of a way to do away with the need for labor unions, what?

Anyway. Anyone with half a brain knows it is the fault of the ding-bat liberals.

Hey c*****r , guess you don't know why so many jews were persecuted during the Black Plagues .
They were infected in less numbers , which didn't go over too well with the gentiles of the day .
And that is because they observed greater cleanliness in their homes , which meant rats were less likely to infest their homes for lack of a food source .You do know that rats are everywhere humans are,.... right ?

So don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch , regarding who will be vulnerable should a bubonic plague make a comeback .
Not to mention that today it is totally treatable . You might want to wish a different disaster to be visited upon them damn liberals in NYC . Maybe a Comet ? Dirty Bomb , Nuke from a rogue nation ? No ?

Navysnipe , on Merchantmen Oilers or Fireman/oilers were part of the Engine Dept . They stood the standard 4 hr watches tending the Boilers /Engines, monitoring generators , fuel feed and fuel levels and adjusting speeds as per the Bridge . It was normally the Deck Dept consisting of 6 ABs 3 Ordinary seaman 1 Day Man [Deck Maint.] 1 Ships Carpenter and the Bosun ,that did the butterworthing and mucking . I was Able Seaman Green Ticket [any waters ] with a Bosun's rating .Never sailed Bosun though , those jobs were hard to comeby . Thankfully Bilge Cleaning was handled by the Eng. Dept , and performed by the 2 non watch standing Wipers [utility eng.room maint.men ]

Oh! I should have known Mr. Lou is a sniper. He's a God! He always knows everything and he is always right. A perfect brain. He thinks. Would someone blow his ass back to reality?

He has progressed so far out from that it reminds me of Lou the sperm. He was always exercising, running round the scrotum. His buddies tried to get him to relax but he insisted that he wanted to have eternal life by being the first one to reach the egg. All of a sudden the bell rings and everyone jumps up and starts running up the shaft, but good buddy Lou, he's far out front. After about half way to the promised land the group sees Lou running toward them as fast as he can, yelling " go back, blow job, blow job." Poor lou, he worked so hard to be almost blown away. :-)  :-D

Yeah! Lou: I believe that you are a genus because you are the only one who knows it! For your agape the residual of humanity suffers greatly. How did ya know I washed bottles? Mom couldn't afford a basement but unlike you I do live above ground . A man who never rose above a grease monkey isn't much of a success. And, I suspect if you didn't have a union jacking up yo ass you would never have risen above the engines oil pans. Poor Lou, I feel for ya buddy. All those hours in the bowels of the ship made you ever so over the edge, progressive, wanting to progress to an engineer, socialist, due to your only friend the engine made you lonely and Democratic because you needed to be an influence in the world. You knew that you could never become a Republican for Republicans are far out of you reach. God only knows hat if I had suffered as you with engines as my only friend I would be insane too. Have a nice day Lou.
