New York State Senate leader Dean Skelos and his son, Adam, are expected to be arrested next week by the federal government on corruption charges. The charges come just three months after federal bribery and kickback allegations led to the downfall of Assemblyman Sheldon Silver.
The charges against Skelos, a Republican from Long Island, will likely include conspiracy, extortion and solicitation of bribes, according to the New York Times.

And in the mean time they cashed in big time.

They were 100% controlled by the oil industry. Iraq war was to control the oil coming out of the ground in Iraq and Saddam was in the way. So after 9/11 they had there excuse and used it on the backs of the American people. Now they control our elections actually we don't have elections anymore it should be called a Auction

You are right, but this auction begun long before we CLEARLY saw it with the year 2000, but it was going on before.
When middle class people were running and cared about our country we had hope to make it a better country.
